Which would be the better combination for high end arena play?

METAS: 12 agility, 3% increased crit VS 12 crit rating, 5% snare resistance

ENCHANT: 9 stamina, minor speed VS 10 rating rating, 5% snare resistance

Since surefooted talent is mostly picked up by the cookie-cutter marksman arena build, that will be 15% snare resist already and coupled with surefooted+snare meta, a hunter can potentially be VERY hard to snare and hinder and in turn, make attempting to dps down a hunter very time wasting. Also, since you need 5% hit for pvp, surefooted talent+surefooted enchant+helm enchant+hit from seal of exorcist adds up to be 5.25% hit, just only breaching the hit rating so it could work.

On the flip side, I could see the tiny dps decrement from using snare meta instead of the crit/agility one, although this shouldn't be too much because the snare meta provides crit rating anyway.

what are your thoughts?

Minor speed is a must in arenas.

Dont really know about the meta gem. You get some dodge and armor for rogues and warriors so it's a bit hard to pick one. I got agi meta gem anyway as its my pve helm too. :p

Minor speeds is much less a must for hunters.Minor speed is a must for melee being they need to be in melee range.Hunter has ways to keep in range, and if you are in melee range minor speed wont fix that. Its one thing if we had to run a length of a field, but being how most of it is close quartered minor speed isn't an issue. I think 25% snare resist would be huge. Especially for marks since he only really has 2 ways to get away being scatter/trap and trinket.

Think it like this:

1/10 snares resisted and 10 hit rating.

9 sta (+multipliers) and 8% run speed.

I would much rather run around the corner to scatter / silence someone to win a game rather than rely on luck when I'm being focused by warrior, rogue and sometimes even a mage.

Maims the enemy, causing 63 damage and slowing the enemy's movement to 50% of normal speed for 15 sec.

Even when snared, that 8% will increase your movement speed.
