All right so atm I'm playin with a SL/SL lock but he's gonna try a druid next season so I'm gonna have to find myself a new partner. My question is what should I look for? I can find another lock with similar gear and do the same thing and I also will be able to play with a hunter that a RL friend of mine will be leveling(he will have shit gear but he's good and he'll get gear as the season goes). Do u guys think a hunter would be as good a partner as a SL/SL lock?

The only good partner with a pally atm is a warlock. I have seen others work but they usually break down at the high end bracket.

Hunter isnt that good IMO, not very good against druid healers

You can go with a another lock or a warrior/rogue. If you wanted to try ret you can do ele shaman or a rogue partner, but atm the best partner for a holy pally is by far a lock.

Paladin rogue has been dead since mid season 1. Its fun since it's hugely skill-based, but pretty much every combo has an advantage against you.

Paladin warrior usually gets quagmired around 2100, but if you can manage to get through the forest of lolimbad warlockdruid, warlockrogue, ect that for some reason can't get past 2100, youll be able to hold your own. The big thing is that you have to be completely on the ball, use focus frames (preferably having more than one focus), ect.

I was under the impression you could never have more than one focus frame. If I am wrong and some kind of addon or smth can indeed do this, please elaborate.

I had a paladin friend who played with this amazing rogue, I never really asked how but I know for a fact that he would regularly sell gladiator-ranked teams with ease by playing pally/rogue.

A possible clincher would be that he spec'd for imp HoJ, not imp concentration, but thats just him.
