Why Holy Nova? [Archive] - Arena Junkies Forums

I realized that some high rating dis priest or holy priest spent 1 pts to get this talent. My partner told me it sux and he dont want to use it.
Can anyone priest tell me why you take this talent? And how to use this expensive AoE heal+damage in arena?

I use rank one to kill snake traps... for me that's worth the one point :P also for finding stealth or whatever

I found that it lost a lot of its utility post-TBC: BGs became less important and Rogues miraculously got smarter.

It's still great for Snake Traps, though.

yup snake trap = death for a priest

you just spam R1, and like every says unstealth rogues if you can. If you use full rank holy nova, you're a retard.

holy nova is pretty raw...
i usually roll with a warlock though, so hellfire on hunter pets = gg

I probably won't go a build without it. It just helps to much vs rogues/hunters. With most rogues prep now they vanish to cs you which they can't do if you have holy nova. When fighting a double dps team that has a rogue stay at max range when he blinds you and then trys to sap you after just spam holy nova. if you are somewhat far blind will normally break before he gets to u.

also comes in handy for breaking cappers in BGs
