So we were sitting at 2262 in the 3v3 bracket on Vengeance, getting ready for our new mounts and happy with the way the season had gone. Our shaman had ebayed, so we were not really looking to play the rest of the season. After looking through the calculator and the teams that were win trading way past us, we decided to hop on and grab 10 or 20 'cushion points'.

Oops.

We lost 20 points in our first game with our secondary line-up. We ended up 1-5 dropping down to 2187 last week. We picked up a new shaman since our old one ebayed a while back and went 9-6 yesterday, but still slid down in rating.

So given my bonehead move to try and solidify our position for glad, we're pretty much out of the running [barring an unlikely hot streak with the holidays upon us]. I was wondering if anyone else has similar end-of-season horror stories.

Even worse... we had nice rating of 2260 but partner by mistake clicked on 2v2 join instead of 3v3...and we got on war druid and got ofc owned now we are 2235 hope i will get glad for this (according to calc i will ..)

Wow last night we decided to try for 2350 from our 2310 rating. Our priest DC's on the first match against a very good team (all 3 gladiators) and we lose 16 points. We constantly lost 16-27 points against teams due to disconnects or horrible play. Probably dropped to 2220 or so. Then we started playing some decent teams for decent points and all of a sudden a team we cld never beat before queues against us. We ended up beating them 4-0 with perfect plays and rose our rating to 2321. So pretty much later, 3 hours of drama and stress passed and we went up 11 rating.

Last season my 5's team was sitting around 2450 with 2 weeks left, so we decided to get everyone on the team they're 20% for Glad... We ran line-ups that we had not played in months and ended up dropping over 100 rating. The last 2 nites of the season we ran our main line-up to get back up and ended up missing Glad by 1 position on the ladder.. T.T

Made it up to about 2290 last night, wanted to do 1 more game to solidly be safe for 2v2 glad cutoff, fight the same team 3 times in a row, drop back down to 2245 :(

The calculator ratings haven't been updated in quite some time...

me and my lock buddy are crossing our fingers atm hoping we will get our new netherdrakes but according to the calc we are in the clear. As for my new 5v5 Im sad to say they were 2270 something I think if not 2300. they were in the clear until they wanted to get first page armory status (I think) and went for it. Now they sit at 2126 no where near the glad cut off :(
