Which item to get?

Hello guys, I am currently faced with a dilemma on three different items to get from heroic badges, 2 of them are trinkets and 1 of them is the cloak.

The items are the Essence of the Martyr (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=29376), Battlemaster's Perseverance (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=34580) (which will both replace my Lower City Prayerbook (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=30841)), and also Kharmaa's Shroud of Hope (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33333).

I've heard that the Essence was one of the best trinkets for a resto druid to have, however the cloak has much more resilience and I could get the battlemaster trinket instead. Does anyone have any thoughts on which I should get?

I would personally get the cloak. The resilience seems like a nice addition, and then you can get the trinket from honor with +healing and the self heal.

I think the prayer book is much better than the essence. Some might try to start a LB stack with the essence activated and then keep it going but I rarely see that happening. So I think the essence is a waste of tokens.

I will get the cloak. 16 tokens to go. WTB one more Freetokenzan clear. Then fuck PvE.

I suck at popping trinklets, so what i did is: i put Essence on ns/ht macro, so basically when it is: oh shit situation, i press this button and i get 20 sec + healing buff. Works fine so far.

Yes, but is 200 extra healing every 3 minutes on one spell that already heals for 5k worth the 15+ mana/5 that the prayer book gives you? Most top druids I have seen use either the prayer book or the bangle, and some the scarab. I see more pallies with the essence.

Yea I have the same laziness when it comes to trinkets lol. Oh can ya share this macro with us?

To Molp:

The CD on the essence is 2 mins, while the cd for lower city prayer book is 1 min. I personally am using the essence atm, mayb cauz like i said earlier i'm not conscious of having to consistently pop trinkets. Nonetheless, I am considering trying to get the bangle. Tho I am not looking forward to having to run botanica x million of times. -.-
