recently i made a post here asking why improved psns are better for a rogue vs teams with healers being able to dispel psns?
Turns out they were right seems like improved psns helps applying psns faster than druids/shamans can dispel it. Especially druids. Vile poisons have the chance to resist dispels but it is supposed to be bugged atm vs abolish poison.
for those rogues deciding between the two try out improved poisons.

While I agree with you I will be leaving the good ol daggers and picking up the maces for s3. It was fun while it lasted but Blizz hates dagger rogues so going where the love is. :(

Vile poisons is not bugged vs abolish poison. That's just the way it works (and why most people get imp instead), what happens is a druid casts abolish poison on their teammate, it attempts to dispel that first poison, if it resists, abolish poison does not go up, if it does not resist, abolish goes up and dispels 1 poison every 2 seconds. So you only have a chance to have the first abolish resisted. Kind of stupid but it's not a bug.

as a rogue/priest/mage its very frustrating to kill an SL lock when a druid is spamming heals/abolish poisons and frostbolt snares are being overwritten by crippling poisons.
I can't stand playing maces if the change is that significant in s3 then i'll consider buying some maces.

Whether or not it's a "bug" is up to Blizzard to decide, but I've never seen a blue post claim that is the intended behavior.
It's a stupid design decision. The talent is crippled if it does not affect every tick of Abolish Poison.
The way it should work is the Abolish Poison buff should appear even if the first tick is resisted, and each tick should have the chance to be resisted.

qft, ambolish is what hurts poisons most and dispel resistance talent doesnt work against it
