S3 Items

I find the upgrades are very marginal. I mean from S1 to S2 you gained a bunch of Armor but the upgrade from S2 to S3 is so small in my eyes. I mean, you don't gain any resilience, all in all about 80 or 90 Armor and like 1 mana/5 sek and 10 heal more per item. I mean, the difference between S2 and S3 is just like the difference between S2 with normal gems and S2 with BT gems. Same goes for PvP Items.
Well this isn't a whine post, so to come to my question:
I know with 2.3 we all got some dmg, but I would like to try shadow out. And I think now would be the best time to test it, as in my eyes the difference between S2 and S3 is so small. Or would you guys advice me to just stick with Mooncloth for S3? I know disc is much stronger then Shadow atm, but I think it would be worth a shot :)

I think we gain a lot of intellect this season. To put it into perspective, we're now about where we were in S1, so that is always good. I like the S3 gear.
