Ok...

So they have one in holy, pretty nice

They just put one in heavy disc, getting great feedback.

Why can't they just drop a talent into the shadow tree that does SOMETHING.

I know this seems like a QQ post...and maybe it is. But I find it extremely disheartening that I feel I can't spec deep into shadow anymore.

With rogue buffs (lol double CLOS? yeah gg.) amongst numerous other things...shadow priest survivability can only go so far.

Arguements saying "your team needs to keep you up" are viable...but not full proof. BOP's can be purged in seconds, rogue stuns on others can be resisted (lower brackets etc.). When it comes down it, the survivability of the class by itself just stinks. 15% melee mitigation is nice...but when you are at 400+res and still getting shut down by alot of classes, what can you do?

I have for so long wished to see some type of "reverse CLOS" talent. Rogues can wipe our dots and go spell immune? why can't shadow priests possibly go "melee immune" for 5 sec?. Maybe theres a huge balance issue with that I don't see...but it doesn't seem like putting some type of survivability thing in the shadow tree is too much to ask.

As i posted the other day, I now feel tied to speccing out of any 41 pt shadow spec...the disc/shadow spec with no shadow form and silence seems to be the only route i can go....though i'll be losing near 30% spell damage (s.form,misery,darkness). That hurts :(

I dunno, maybe i'm just a bit angry, but does anyone else share this same feeling? And if i do go this spec (which as I said, I feel i have to)...I now wonder wtf kind of teams I should be trying to make. I assume my 2200 ish 3v3 of Elem shaman, me, UA lock wouldnt work nearly as well (we dropped this past week due to some horrid lag issues to mid 2k's).

Anyway, sorry for the rant.

Take care all

With all the incoming armor penetration s3 gear they really should make shadow resilience into something useful.

jeez armor pentration...i almost forgot about that lol.

well there goes even the usefulness of shadowform mitigation.

Does anyone else think that mroe and more peopel are goign to have to stray away from a deep shadow build?

Imp physic screm with the glove bonus will be nice...as is silence....beyond that and vamp emrbrace I'm wondering if its even worth it trying to put mroe pts in the tree :\

sigh.

Damage as healing and 15% physical mitigation (and 15% more damage as healing) is probably what they consider to be Shadowform's survivability.
