Surviving with no mana...

Playing a mirror match with a hpriest, the game came down to both priests losing each lock.

I managed to get the opposing priest OOM twice as fast but somehow i couldnt down him.

Basically as soon as my priest goes OOM he dies from dots. However this priest was losing around the pillar with dots on him and his health just wouldnt drop.

So what was this priest doing that mine wasnt?

Both locks had CoEx up and were chasing pillar hugging priest with pets devouring (im guessing my 450 aus ping is quite a disadvantage here).

I sudgested to my priest he put on rank 1 buffs to cover his renew but it didnt seem to help.

Do you think CoEx or CoA once pillar hugging priest is oom?

Note: Mp5 of both priests was fairly similar also.

The following each are a factor in how long a Priest might survive at low mana while pillaring against a Warlock:

the healing output of each Priest, based on +healing and talents like Improved Renew and Spiritual Healing

mana cost reduction talents, i.e., Mental Agility, Absolution, Healing Prayers

intelligent use of bogus buffs to protect Renews, Mendings, Shields

If the Priests are similar in spec and gear, it's a player issue.

innervate with a 300 spirit trinket is the clear solution

spirit trinket + innervate = OP.. gotta love moonkins
