I was getting decent wins (12-13) all the way up to about 1820. Then everything started to be about 9-10 but it was fun. It's amazing how much more interesting and competitive it gets at the start of a season.

It was really bad for me last night (500+ latency when I'm usually 20~), was normal when I logged in this morning but has been going from 50-150 pretty regularly, seems to increase as the day goes on?

I dunno, it's only on this battlegroup, on other servers I have no problem.

They beat us when they respec'd shadow after we went like 12-0 against them as disc. But I had like every intercept resisted and played like shit because the respec surprised me. And I use swords.

Not surprised at all you guys rolled them. Now I feel horribad for losing to them once though. :(

Which BG did you go to? I know your char says whirlwind but I think nightfall and stormstrike were the two I tested with the best pings for me (40-50)

We've been getting better at fighting Warrior/Druid but we're at the point that the only Warrior/Druids we're fighting are really good ones so they will not allow a CC chain to happen therefore taking away any possibility we have of winning. I'm pretty sure that all but 2 or 3 of our losses this season in 2s has been to Druid/Warrior or Shaman/Warrior but Shaman/Warrior is getting progressively easier even if they're smart enough to stay in ghost wolf. (which surprisingly, a lot of shaman don't do against rogues)

I've fought some gladiator one's that stay in human form. It's quite sad. Had a great match against Remeris and Valkyris. Had Valk down to 1% twice I believe but just couldn't finish him.

I don't really have a choice when my druid isn't spec'd feral charge.

Anytime I am CC'd, a feral charge druid is going to charge -> bash -> ream my druid in caster. Meanwhile we have no such option, I basically have to solo the other druid.

I'm a very aggressive player (or thought I was, I prefer swords to maces for example), but if I have to choose between letting my druid die or peeling, I'm going to peel.

Convinced her to try feral charge though because I really am tired of needlessly long mirrors because we don't have a basic tool that every other war/druid does... so we'll see how that goes.

Haha ya, I played against you and dewk when he was on his warlock. Zabrtue's gear just isn't quite there yet. Wasn't able to put much pressure on you guys at all. I'm hovering between 1800-1900 on him though. Druid/Rogue is strong but I just don't enjoy it nearly as much as priest/rogue and I feel it play much worse in that comp than I do when I'm with Legend.

To be honest and it's brutal honesty I guess, but I haven't fought anyone near the skill of some the teams I had fought on ruin. I mean the 2 dps here compared to say Noxxn is ugh. I barely go defensive :x.

Sorry, I don't troll AJ forums. Was late to getting to this.

It was me playing the priest who had 0 spell hit, ~420 resillience, ~1500 healing, ~100mp5 buffed, etc etc.

It was gemmed really badly and enchanted really badly. That game all of my fears got resisted on both you and Legend. I think it only lasted for about 3. The last fear I used it defensively on only you because I was about to die. Pretty sure that was the game blind missed as well when you didn't even have evasion up. Being undead doesn't help at all of your opponents resist every fear. That ends up giving you the upperhand with improved stealth and 2% more dodge, priest having shadowmeld, etc etc etc. A gear advantage in a priest/rogue mirror makes a huge difference. It's all about pressure. Team with less gear puts out less pressure resulting in a disadvantage. Good game anyway.

@Zeriel: You guys play so defensively it's not even funny. If that priest had more gear pretty sure you woulda lost almost all of those games =(.

I duno about that, still not that many players here that have experience outside of Emb. Hopefully more people xfer though would be fun.

O but they are good sir. I can tell you how different ruin is from cyclone and say ember. On ember most people don't know what target switching is and just try to train one person the whole game.

I guarantee you that the 130th-150th people on any big battlegroup are pretty bad/mediocre too, in terms of % you can only really count the top 5, maybe top 10 on emberstorm.

Size also makes a BG different ;p. The only reason BG9 got so popular etc was because of the size of the player pool. Everyone xferred there creating a huge variety of comps. Thus people got better and better.

O, of course of course. I am not saying BG9 is the end all bg. I like that some BGs are different and have their own styles, mostly the hyped BGs are dying. Cyclone was supposed to be a pretty decent BG but in the end it was the same. Most teams dodged etc. Ive actually met more people willing to play on ember ;p.

That really makes me sad, because I've been thinking of transferring off to get more actual games, it was horrible last season, no one would queue at 2200+.

his druid is good he somehow manages to stay alive through massive dps.. well sometimes =P but yeah def one of the better druids, although i think his connection is bad, i remember towards the end of season 3 his druid dc in a game of 3s and a game of 2s right after against us =/

We're lucky if there's one good druid per side per server (that's what we have, the one on alliance is feral charge and awesome). The only good one on Horde is the one I play with, and she's really never liked feral charge.

Paladins are so easily locked out that even with pve gear they're at a huge disadvantage as solo healers despite their regen. So many games I've beaten pve paladins without them burning through even 20% of their mana, and with a little luck via rng a la nightfall sometimes they don't even use 1k of it.

Rogue/druid and rogue/priest are hard counters. There's no way you can say they aren't. Most of the other teams are soft counters. That still means if the skill level of both teams is the same the pally/lock team will lose every time.
