should work fine... Have the warrior on 1 target preferably a clothie and have the rogue lock down a healer... Both keep MS up and have the shaman dps either or... When 1 gets low shaman can Blow CD's. With the double Mortal Strike effect and the split damage the struggle for them to keep up will give way and something will die. Shammy should just ground and interupt to help prevent cc. Also 9 out of 10 times shaman will be first target so hes gotta be LoS

I typically wear only the mace in arena as my only piece of PvE gear and I switch it out as soon as they're focusing me.

It's better then the s3 mace, but I'm getting the s4 mace. You're overestimating it's bonus ability over the healing you lose as well as resilience and other stats.

I've been running EShaman Hunter Warrior Paladin Priest (I play the Warrior), and haven't been having too much luck. Maybe it's because we suck. Or at least the other four players on my team suck and I can't carry them to victory.

I've got a solid DPriest, RDruid, and Warrior willing to 5's with my RShaman. Would any fifth make it a decent makeup? If not, can three of us team up with two other classes for a good one?

I remember playing an intense two games vs Gib Gib Gib on my warrior's five's team, LernToWin (We didn't name it, someone happened to have an unused but already named team lying around. Free team > name).
We run Warrior/hunter/holy paladin/disc priest/rogue (though we had a resto druid instead of the rogue for those games), I play the warrior. We got wrecked our first game, but then just barely pulled off a close win the second game, was a great experience playing against you folks.
I bring it up since your team comp is one that has many advantages against our melee-heavy paladin healer team, just as further encouragement to people to queue even when you know counters are playing. 5v5s are just too dead otherwise on this BG. Do you have any actual knowledge about Takamoto? Like, have you ever seen him play or do you know him to be a good player?

He claims to have farmed 3 teams to 2300 last season in a 1 week period as Shaman/Warrior with some guy named "Zerker". Last season I was sitting at 2338 and my partner and I would check the standings a few times a week and we NEVER saw any team from Darrowmere above 2300 besides the following:

We're actually trying now (Rnn/Vertez, Venge Glads)
Eagles Nest (Crowbites/Jakelinus, Rogue/Lock)
lawlop (Tomace/Etherimp, my team)

Basically, everybody on my server is pretty much convinced that Takamoto bought his account and that he lies through his teeth about all of his arena experience. He's full Venge and can't get above 1600 ratings. He blames it on his inability to find good partners.. Yet, somehow, I have 15 people a day bugging me to do arena with them and have no problems finding quality players.

I'm wondering if there's any legitimacy to his claims that he's being highly sought after by SK Gaming, Daedric, and yourself. . And also to better understand why.

IE

a. You just saw a full venge warrior and figured he'd be good in your guild? or..

b. You actually know and are friends with the guy and you think he's a legitimately good player.

They've got a huge edge over every other healing class, and any team with a Resto/DS Druid on it has an advantage, generally speaking, over any team without one (Not to say there aren't counter comps for makeups such as Warrior/RDruidlol. It's just that in general, that team is more equipped to beat more teams, and with more ease, than any team with another class of healer). Thus, RDruid2v2lol.

Hoodrych is 1st on Reckoning as shaman warrior, and until recently on Nightfall a shaman/warrior held 1st for the entire season. Druids have an edge in arena but honestly I've only had a problem with a few druids in arena ever (or a few name druid/lock teams when Churp had a little under 300 resil. D: )
