So with the new focused will and improvements to disc im going to try this spec out for S3. The problem is that I was a retard with my point management and will only manage to get around 3500 points and 40k honor.
This puts me in a situation where i will be playing disc with pretty gimped healing gear for a few weeks. So my question is: What should my initial talent spec for S3 be, considering that i'll be pretty gimped in terms of gear.
[2v2] Rogue/priest
[3v3] Rogue/priest/mage

If you're looking only to healbot, I'd use something like:
http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/classes/priest/talents.html?5050323100525002315012305503000000000 00000000000000000000000000
Where the points in Force of Will translate to Focused Will.

Thanks! That was my initial choice aswell.
As i progress gearwise is it worth it to swap some talents into Meditation?

No items which can be acquired through PvP have Spirit as a stat.

What about inner fire, is it not worth it?
Besides that, I am going Disc from Shadow as well, shadow just does not have enough survivability any more, while the changes to the disc tree and the new 33% damage will be a huge advantage.
With mind blast and SW: D combo I think priests benefit from the spelldamage change the most, so you will be a really good supporter to your warlock, rogue, hunter, warrior .. I am looking forward to try it

if you're gonna be grouping with a mage then reflective shield is just retarded. let alone its just retarded enough imo and not worth the talents.
but besides, from shadow -> disc, is what im doing as well, but i have 5k arena banked and idk how much honor i'll have, but you should be able to still be a heal spec with some healing pieces and dps gear mix, until u get full heal gear. sometimes i respec holy just to 3v3 and im only wearing like 8 pure healing pieces and the rest dps and it does fine although i notice the lack of healing. and if you're gonna be wearing some dps gear with it, then yes, meditation is def. worth it imo.
i dont understand why woder gives meditation so much hate, i believe the new meditation with 3/3 is roughly 37 mp5 while casting, which is pretty decent imo. and im a fan of spirit buff.
and about inner fire, the 3 talents points are just better spent else where and is probably the stupidest talent in disc imo.

I am having so much trouble making this decision right now. I've been shadow for ages, enjoy it alot and I'm not sure whether I can switch from the dps mentality to the healing mentality. On the other hand, all I do nowadays is arenas and disc/holy seems to be more versatile. I've got team options in all brackets for both specs. The grass is always greener...blah blah blah.
Just can't make up my damn mind which way to go.

You know, you're allowed to wear +damage gear and still be Holy/Disc.

Yeah, I realize I'm allowed to. And if I make the switch I'll be wearing at least 2 pieces of season 2 satin for a couple weeks at minimum.
That said, if I make the switch it obviously won't be with the intention of continuing to focus on doing dps.
I know you said you want to go disc for S3, which I'm gonna do to. But seeing as your gimped in healing gear to start off, I'm thinking BR, 28/33/0 will better serve you until you get more +healing gear. ESPECIALLY if your main healing 2v2 and 3v3. In 5s you can get away with disc if you are the dispel, manaburn, protection roll as opposed to healing. I was blown away when i first switched from shadow to BR. You will be amazed at your increase in survivability.
