I'm a warlock and my partner is a rogue. There is one combo we can never seem to beat and that is a druid and warlock. We have tried to kill the druid first, but it never works cause even with crippling poison on he still always manages to escape and will do nothing but run around a pillar spamming instant dot heals and eventually warlock dots will kill us...

So we switched it up, went with double wound poison on the warlock, and tried to focus fire him down while trying to keep the druid feared, this however as we all know SL/SL warlocks are incredibly hard to bring down especially getting any sort of healing, and we have even worse luck if we try this...

Any tips against this combo, it sure seems almost impossible for us to deal with.

I run a 2's with a Warlock and we've had some success against the Warlock/Druid combo by doing some of the following:

We'll kill his pet off. A smart Druid will heal the pet though, but usually we'll get a CC on the Druid and in that time, I can down his pet (especially with adren rush going).

Sometimes, we go ahead and drop a Curse of Shadow + Banish on the pet to drop the Soul Link, giving us a nice window of damage opportunity. Also, we usually have our felhunter dispelling the Warlock to drop his Fel Armor (which as you know, gives the druid 26% more on healing).

As a Rogue, you want to drop a huge expose armor on the Warlock, this should yield about a 20% increase in damage from physical attacks. Basically keep energy handy for Kick and Shiv to prevent kiting and try to watch the Druid so you can react to his attempts to Cyclone you... I'll use my Cloak, Trinket, Vanish - to avoid Cyclones.

It is a hard matchup though, because you are working with a finite amount of time, if you get kited at all, you are probably going to lose - it really depends on how well you BOTH can CC the Druid. Trying to sneak a Blind in when the Druid hasn't front-loaded abolish poison is pretty key. Doing that, paired with Fears and consistent DPS on the Warlock is your best bet.

What Cel said.

Warlock+Rogue is one of the newest flavor of the month teams and frankly it's nice to see double DPS teams at the top.

Our Warlock+Druid team more or less only lose against Warlock+Rogue. It's not a guaranteed loss but one tiny itty bitty mistake and the warlock goes down. What's so nice about DPS+healer teams is that you can make small mistakes and still win (unlike DPS teams who has to do everything perfectly all the time). Against Warlock+Rogue however there simply are no room for error. We have to coordinate 100% to withstand the sheer amount of CC and DPS warlock+Rogue can pull out of their pants or it's GG.
