Right now we are running warr / 23/38 lock / and pally. My friend recently went resto, do you think a good resto druid would benefit us more with this set up or should we stick with the pally. Have you guys tried out these set ups?

Both are very competitive, pick whoever is the stronger player.
I'd take the Druid
I personelly think Druids are better than pallys because of their CC abilities and because they can run away :P
But if the Pally is the stronger player u can also pick him =)

It just seems our pally goes oom alot. Check my 3v3 our pally is shieldnheart. I dont know why he is going oom so quickly hes not getting mana drained and warlock is 23/38 so hes not taking as much damage. Any of you guys ever faced this problem

It sounds like you are playing outlast games or something? Tell your lock to drain their healers mana more then, I guess

I played this setup with a druid before, broke 2.1k without too much hassle.
Now I've respecced UA and I've got to say it's so much more fun and only slightly less effective(2141 after yesterday). Also people don't seem to expect anything else than SL/SL so I've seen a lot of people spam dispel which obviously is a bad idea :P
Why be boringmode spec ;)

What spells is your pally using? If you're lock doesn't take much dmg, your pally should be able to use flash of light more instead of holy light to be more mana efficient. Also, your pally should drink EVERY TIME HE CAN. That's one thing mine does.... a couple ticks of drinking every 10-20 seconds can win a fight..... or even sometimes letting it get close and drinking to full before jumping back in to heal (especially if he's getting drained).
But yeah, to directly answer your question, either class works great - play with whoever's the stronger player.

My gladiator team is this setup, and one thing with our pally, is he drinks every chance he gets. Since generally its focus fire on our warlock, he has a chance between healthstones + healing trinket to sit down get a few ticks of drinking in. Also blessing of sacrifice helps out a ton so he doesnt have to spam holy lights to keep someone up. It is a drain team setup, warlock fears/drains the healer, ill dps the squishiest available so the healer has to come out and sit through the drains. The only team that gives us any trouble is rogue/lock/druid because of cyclone / poisons / UA. Even then we can win if its on any arena but blades edge. Fuck that place.

Kaz, I rotate between me pally/spriest and me/pally/ele shaman..... with the spriest (similar playstyle to lock) we pray for rogue/lock/druid....... build rage on whoever's closest, and when the druid pops out to heal, just rape him. Between you forcing him to bear up (make sure you pummel the first cyclone), BoF on you, possibly BoP on the lock, your melee, a couple DoTs, and JoJ, we DESTROY druids. So basically it's a patience game where we all wait for the druid, then burst when he pops. Your lock doesn't need to provide much more than 2/3 dots and a drain, and you should be able to kill him before BOF/JoJ wears off. The only team we hate to see is rogue/mage/priest when we roll with our spriest.

I only go oom in that setup when we can't kill someone, you have to be able to finish someone off when they get low. I can imagine you get people down to 10-20% a lot and then they get healed up and your pally can't ever find the time to drink; hence why he is oom. I know the feeling of that from personal experience, a lot of personal experience. We'll probably bring a druid in to replace me next season, but your druid needs to be both good and geared. My lock and I are also big fans of UA, drain is so boring [and effective].

Our paladin usually doesnt get the time to JoJ, ill go sword board and even so with UA and dots ticking on me, he has to spam like crazy, even with sacrifice up. If i can survive the rogues prep. we're fine. If they attack the warlock, they're stupid and we get a free win. After that though, the druids going to be travel forming somewhere retarded, so ill just dps the rogue out of his los until he comes out. Depends on the arena honestly, on lordaeron, regardless of the dps on me, its kill the druid since theres nowhere to hide. On BEM, its survive the rogues CD's. And its situtational like any arena, i chain off a few crits on the rogue, throw a deathcoil at the druid and call it done.
