We can get away with just about any MS variation in 5v5, but 2v2 is pretty intricate. After trying 33/28, 33/25/3, I've settled on 35/23/3 and plan on staying this way after 2.3 as well.

I'm just curious what other high rated 2v2 teams can't live without now or in 2.3.

Choices in chronological order, I left out the duh talents:

Imp HS
Anger Management
> 2pts 2h weapon spec
Imp Hamstring
Weapon Mastery
Blood Frenzy
2nd Wind
Booming Voice
Imp Demo
Unbridled Wrath
Piercing Howl
Blood Craze
Imp Exec
Imp Slam
Flurry
Tactical Mastery

I know last stand and concussion blow might make the list for 2.3 but I doubt anybody has tested this competitively on PTR to say difinitively just how great it is.

I bolded my choices

Tactical Mastery for spell reflects
Imp Hamstring for random ownage
Booming Voice for rogues and long fights
Second Wind seems like an obvious one to me

Why imp HS? Sunder armor is almost always a better choice. And even if you have 100 rage now a rage starvation situation may prevent you from doing a second set of MS/WW even if you can get one off now.

I didn't mean to bold imp HS, but I do use it. I often do full rage bar bursts. That's basically Mace stun, Queue HS (12), Blood Rage +Intercept (23), MS (53), WW (78), HS (90) + Execute. Its the highest stunlock burst I can do with a mace and its a real solid way to wreck druids. Alternatively you could not HS a 2nd time and use int shout to keep them in caster until the nest autoattack, then HS + Execute.

HS is basically only good for burst, and only when it crits to give impale. Some teams your window is that small that every extra rage counts.

I don't go toe to toe with warriors enough to need parry% as an alternative.

Hmm... I believe druid bash can also be parried?

imp hs is a waste; i'm specced it now only because i hadn't yet discovered the joys of sunder. go for the parry

Come 2.3, parrying is only a good thing if (1) you have a warrior on you and (2) you're facing him; pretty situational and, IMO, just plain bad.
HS, on the other hand a big part of a warrior's 1-GCD burst when your target is not in execute range (just before a blink/cyclone/sheep/blind/etc...).

I'm not really convinced that most targets are worth the GCD that it takes to sunder. Sure, you should sunder locks and priests, but shamans, paladins, and warriors are awful sunder targets. It's hard to catch rogues, druids, and mages in the first place- using a GCD on a zero-damage ability seems fruitless.

Even if you did plan to sunder your target, what do you do when you have all 5 sunders on your target and you're looking for a rage dump? You HS.

HS may be situational but, until you can turn it on and off, parry is just plain dangerous.

EDIT: Why do you have 6 games played(and lost) on your 2s team and 0 games played on your 3s? I'd suspect smurfing if I didn't see your 5s team :)

i needed points and the team already had 4 games for the week. needless to say, 1v2 in the 2400 bracket is a bit dicey.
