currently 1920 right now which is like 50 points ahead of anyone i think. no1 is really playing in cgs. im pretty sure the top 10 euro teams in cgs are like 1500ish haha. (haven't confirmed this myself, just a rumor in vent)

yea i can tell u why eu teams are so low rated...

the qualifier lasts 2 weeks
~3 days to realize that they didnt spawn any npc
~2 days to realize that the realm cant be seen by eu players on the realm list
~5 days to realize that the arena system wasnt active

But the activity on the realm went from low to zero
And both teams on top are leeched (judged by the streak, the fact that they dont used any gems, and the 3 of 7 teams under 1500 with 0 - 5+)

I think, they should extend the 1st tournament phase or accept the epic fail and cancel the whole event.

Wow and I thought the US realms were shoddy.

There are good teams on the US realm now that people have come back from MLG. The lack of any 'filler' teams kinda like the TR make playing annoying because you either catch another top team or play 1500 randoms for 4 points. Activity should increase in the last couple days though.

It was just really poorly planned and had more or less no advertising. Only place I'm aware of that had sign ups posted was ... This site.

Came up around end of season announcement, you had to apply and wait like 3 or more days for an e-mail response with your acc. info, then it overlapped with mlg and the blizz tourney servers are up so..

Good luck to all teams in the final days of the tournament! The arenas will shut down at midnight (EST for US, GMT+1 for EU) on Sunday. Current rankings are now posted at www.thecgs.com/warcraft and will be updated on Monday with the final list.

Winning teams will be contacted by a member of the CGS staff to verify eligibility and arrange travel to Los Angeles for July 19th.

I really was in the mood to scream out after i read this, a couple of minutes ago...

Yea ur right a lot of players didnt noticed CGS cuz the advertising of MLG and blizz tournament was so much greater compared to what the CGS guys call "advertising"...
Plus every tournament and the saisons end seems to be in the same month, another problem for some players.

But who cares, i hoped for a tournament where eu players can play without lag problem (on blizz tr) or the need to travel "several" miles for some games (MLG)... but i got a linear sequence of fail by CGS, yea for the QQ part

Hilariously enough it suffered from the same issues as the official wow tournament realm. The server was still online around around 4am est with at least 2 well known teams queueing. :/ Not sure if it's still up currently.

I think it's still going as of like 6 am EST. Best case is that they took a rating snapshot at 12 and just wasted a bunch of everyone's time. Worst case is this shit is going until server maintenence Monday.
