Hi, I have a question for some of you locks.
Right now I started up 2v2 w/ a rogue( sl/sl warlock + rogue) and i'm playing it, now however here is my problem. For 5v5's i spec 6/44/11. So I have to farm up the respecs for those two which is okay, not that big a deal. Now I'm being offered a spot on a very good 3v3 team, and they want me to run affliction or otherwise the comp. wouldn't work... so my question to you warlocks is-

Twice is reasonable. Three times is not.

To afford it farm as SL/SL at Elemental Plateau - you can pull 3 times and clear every Elemental.

Farming as an SLSL lock is the easiest thing ever. Just sit there and roll your face on the keyboard to make money =)

What are you going to do for gold in S3?

Just because they're making it so you need a "personal rating" for 2 items doesn't mean you can't sell teams. People are always going to need points for the other pieces of gear.

Also, you can have the people who are the team powerlevelers devastate the rating, and then have the bads come in and win from 1300-1600 or something like that to up their personal rating.

I've already got 6 buyers lined up for weekly sales in S3, so I'm not to worried atm.

earthstorm diamond transmute every day, 70g profit per diamond. had no financial problems till now and atm I bank all diamonds for when s3 hits live and everybody wants gems for their free epics.

4 in ogri'la, bombing skettis quest, the skettis escort, and if you have an epic flying mount, both netherwing mine quests, as well as the booterang and gathering daily. Me and my lock partner do them together and it takes about 30-40 minutes.

I sell a 3 v 3 team each week for quite some gold, and sell 3 v 3 teams alot - upto 3k gold quite easily ;o

Sell rating mostly atm... Primal farming is another option but hella boring for me. I get by on dailys and by selling rating occasionally, my servers full of cheap bums so we only get about 1-2g per rating earned. still a good 150g for me and my partner to go from 1500 to a measly 1700 though.

Considering your a warcock, I would recommend finding a druid and selling points each week. Get it to 2000 in one week, than charge gold for two scrubs to do 3 games, than do 7. Easy gold.

I too sell arena points weekly. We manage about three different 3v3 teams, netting us about 1.5k weekly. We are also selling the gladiator title on our 2v2 for 6k gold each.

Plenty of gold for respecs/enchants/gems.

Have everyone on your team alt-f4 when it's time to start mother shaz trash and then imp pull the aoe packs and farm the elites. Oh yeah and dailies are goot.
