Hello everyone, I'm about to xfer to the TR but I have a few questions before I waste 20 bucks

1) The practice period ended today afaik, will I still be able to find teams though?
2) Is it worth it xferring this late? Also will I be able to find teams?
3) Is it true that this phase of the tournament will go 'till october (I'll be able to play my 3 chars till october for 20 bucks)?

Thanks for your time.

I'm not sure you'll be able to find great teams, but the competition is pretty much top notch. You're playing a ton of tournament caliber teams from all bg's, and there's a pretty good amount of people playing.

The big downsides in my opinion are PvE geared Rogues and the ability to see who you're playing due to only one server. For instance, if I'm playing RMP and I know we're about to play Warrior/Lock/Druid, I can enter the arena, confirm it, and then my mage can gem full spell damage / t5 because he knows he won't be focused.

But overall yes it's worth buying if you have friends to come with you.

unfortunately no I do not have any friends who would be willing to come, I was hoping there were other good players who still needed teams like I do

I think you'll be able to find people who want to play, not sure if they are amazing players or not. Steer clear of the ones who are terrible, you can quickly tell by their gemming/enchanting selection.

I'm pretty serious about arenas, I've gotten some 2.1k ratings but I've never gone as high as I wanted to because I never got to know a group of people who are really good at arenas. What I wanted in the TR is to meet some new people who know what they're doing. I thought it might be an opportunity to meet more people who are serious bout arenas like me but if I can't even find decent teams there is no point :/

You'll be able to find people who want to play, my advice is to post on the tournament recruitment section that you're looking for teams. It's better than broadcasting in trade channel or something on the arena servers.

Nevermind, just saw that you did that.

great, that's all I needed to know I'll be on the TR today. one more thing, if you delete one of your 3 chars on the TR can u make another one? lets say i got a priest/pally/druid but I found a great team that needs a warrior, will i be able to delete the preist and play a warrior instead?

Yes you can delete any time you want and make another character.

A lot of idiots who pay just to waste 20$ and duel. That seems to make up 75% of the TR, then when they beat people a relentless amount of shit is talked.

If your like me and your live partners are too poor/unmotivated to sign up then don't bother. I've been trying pretty hard to find a decent team but in the end it really just comes down to who you know.

If you want to compete, bring a team, or don't bother.

I personally used it as a sandbox realm. Made classes and tried them out. Was a ton of fun.

I SORT OF wish I had a competitive team on it, but I'm having a lot of fun trying out new classes and learning their quirks (weaknesses and all).

Yea for me it's a bit a mix of both. Funny enough they won't accept my CC for some reason so ...

if you're the type of guy that likes making pve geared rogues to win duels like me, then TR is for you!

Isn't that true of every realm though?

You guys obviously have NO idea how some PvE / RP realms can be like, really.
I personally have met only one good "group" of people, whom I got in trouble with due to some shit later on. Other than those people, I have yet to find another group either.

Chico, Superbarbie, and I all played on the same Realm which is why Chico said BS since he knew both of us. :p
