I've recently started up my own 5v5, and I've been trying to lean on trying either 4 DPS 1 healer or pure mana drain, seeing as how I nearly have the numbers for either. I've wanted to do mana drain for a long time, and the setup i have as of right now is:

hunter/warlock/paladin/warrior or rogue/holy priest

While I know this team has its fair share of weaknesses, How exactly would I go about a mana drain route in 5s? I've never quite played this setup before, so its a bit new to me. I would assume to drain any hunter, priest, mage or shaman I see immediately, and use a hunter's freeze trap to keep warriors/rogues kited with the usual healer CC, but is there any specific trick to this? Any help is greatly appreciated!

edit: also have a elemental shaman and possibly a shadow priest if this mana drain setup isn't exactly the most ideal team for it in 5s, just looking for any tips on how I should approach games class wise.

If you are gonna go drain, I would do 3 healers, Priest (mana drain), Druid (awesome hots and CC), Pally, (good heals and BoP helps vs a lot of teams. Then Hunter and Warlock for more drains.

i would say that mana drain is far more powerful at present than 4dps

hunter/felguardlock/warrior/paladin/priest has worked well in the past.
