View Full Version : Most annoying team set up you have ever faced
On my 3v3 team we once faced a team of 3 shamans(one of each spec) and it was one of the most annoying fights we have ever faced. My team conisted of a shaman and 2 warlocks and it seemed as if every spell we casted went into those dam totems. Anyone else ever get a team thats set up was more to piss you off then actually win?

Druid / Rogue / Shadow Priest / 2x Affliction Lock. This is a 4dps team that puts out insane damage without needing any coordination of silences at all; the attrition factor is just too high, and every member of the team spams their dots / interrupts whenever they feel like it.
That's the thing that really frustrates me. A 4-DPS team should be built around excellent timing of counterspells and coordinated burst damage... not putting out massive raw damage due to the power of DoTs and requiring no skill whatsoever to beat the majority of (good!) teams.
Rogue / Frost Mage.
Don't ask

There was a 5v5 team last season that we ran into a few times, 3x stormherald warrior with 2 pallies. Wasn't an amazingly hard team to beat, it was just funny (in a sad way) seeing people playing the cheesiest combo they could think up.

Awwww :( but this is what I run, but with a Pally instead of the Druid, gib teams ftw. But the dumbest combo I ever fought, was a Frost Mage/Resto Shammy in 2s, I play Rogue/Resto Druid. The match lasted about 24 min, and I musta been sheeped at least a total of 10-12 min of that whole fight.
The most annoying matchup I have ever faced was frost mage/boomkin vs our warrior/druid. I have no idea how they eventually lost, because they should just be able to eat and drink back to full between CC cycles.

This one broke my hotheaded teammate's keyboard AND microphone.
Disc / Holy priest
Holyadin
SL / Aff warlock
They don't even bother trying to hurt you until everyone on your team is completely out of mana. At which point your team slowly dies to three spells while a paladin melees you for 50.
4 shamans, 1 warrior. Team name: Furious totems oO
3 elem, 1 resto. Very annoying.

Team Paladin: 3 elemental shamans, MS warrior, AP/fire mage It was pretty annoying.
Another one was a Resto Druid, Holy/disc priest, and SL/SL warlock. They wouldn't die and it took forever to lose.
