Is it just me or am I seeing a whole shit load of Warrior/Hunter/FelGuardLock/Pally (or Druid)/Priest (or Resto Shaman) setups recently?
It's like the new 4 dps setup, except instead of ruining a warrior with huge amounts of magic DPS, this setup ruins mages with double pets + hunter drain/steady shots while the actual DPS is focused on another target.

Eh I run that combo, but I am not MM and our warlock is not Felguard spec. We also use resto shaman/ Resto druid. Unique and still works.
You are also in my battle group lol?

CAPSLOCKCREW from bg9 has become quite well known, and this is their main lineup. the 5s team i left tuesday peaked at 2076 running it, and if my server didn't have such a drought of experienced/capable hunters, i would probably have picked up a hunter to be part of the team i formed on tuesday.
i wouldn't necessarily call the build a FotM. it's been around for awhile, and frankly, it's a very skill driven matrix. the priest has to be a defensive playing ace to drive the team into the top levels, and everyone really has to treat the team as a 0 cc, position based defense team. you can't cover for people with sheep or counterspell, and if your warlock gets stuck cc'ing too heavily trying to save the day, you're going to lose more often than not.
i have a tremendous amount of respect for CLC and any other team playing this at the top level. if you see this matrix > 2200, expect a very tough game. to get to that point, their hunter and priest are probably top notch.
*edited to add:
btw, OP-- daggerspine was my previous server :) i used to pvp there pre TBC as Trexer (warlock) and Nuknuk (druid) when Nowhere to Run (now Nascent on nazjatar) was there.

Ehh? Just noticing a trend now that people have realized it's really easy to shut down a frost mage with pets + shots. Previously, people were leaving frost mages relatively untouched in 5v5 and this was reflected in their popularity.

/agree
Yeah, after watching the video of that 2500+ rated hunter on warcraftmovies, one of the better hunters on my server was immediately looking for a good felguard lock for his 5s.
