Does anyone sunder pets in arenas? If so, which pets? How many sunders? Does anyone have a source for how much armor different pets have?

I'm a big fan of sundering warlocks and priests, but I've never really taken it upon myself to do the math with pets; I've gone too long not knowing.

Thanks,
Alb

My warrior usually whirlwinds when the warlock/pet are close together, then uses MS (only if it's felhunter/felreaver) and kills it in a few hits.

When the hunter has his pet out (we usually don't kill it unless it's a scorp. but then again, what hunter doesn't have one?) we usually sunder it a few times, switch damage on someone else, and then while I'm ccing the Priest (never seen a hunter without one) drag it around a pillar and start beating on it. If the hunter calls it back, he puts on a shield as I run away to drink before it comes out again. As soon as it's out, we start wailing on it again.

Do you have any idea how much armor the pet has? This will decide how many sunders to apply, if any at all. For all I know, your warrior was wasting his time/rage on the sunders :(

Hunter pets generally have between 8k and 10k armor.

It doesn't really matter though, sundering it while you're not taking damage behind a pillar is free damage/rage really, and a hunter with no pet not only does significantly less damage (since pets are 30% or so of a BM hunter's dmg usually), but they can't hulk out.

I sunder lock voids, everything else pretty much dies without a huge prob between whirlwinds and stuff
