im playing 2s with a shadowpriest and 3s with a mage and a restro shaman.

right now im sl/sl specced cause of my lack of gear.

now i want to specc for somthing with little more dmg to contribute to our strats.
what u think will fit better in these teams or whats better at all?

(whats the big deal about the shadowburn? (for 11 points i get more shadow dmg after crit (i dont crit at all, got 7,7% crit --> = 0 after resilience) -cast time (i normally dont cast bolts in pvp im just sticking with drain life) and a small instant. for that i lose, more dot reach, more dot dmg, more drain life dmg and healing, less resists (=more dmg and free cd) and nightfall.)

another question: should i put my felguard on the target to burn him down even faster or send him to the healer to pushback his heals and force him to heal himself too?

i hope u can answer all of my questions nut just the maine one kinda detailed as i am not that experienced in playing locks

thx in advance

IMO, felguard isn't all that for a shadow priest partner. 43/7/11 is where it's at, since usually people will go for the priest first anyways.

Shadowburn does essentially cost 11 points alone, but for a UA spec it's pretty damn good. Those 10 filler points allow you to PvE as well, for those of us who care.

For your 3v3 setup felguard might be good (one thing I learned: don't cleave the sheep! :P), and next patch it will also try to get behind the target which should help.
You should normally put the felguard on a cloth target while trying to keep the opposing team controlled so that the healer is within intercept range, though against priest healers you might as well stick the felguard on them since spell push back on a CoT'ed mana burn is very helpful.

That being said I don't have much experience with the failguard but I know he can be fairly good in the right setup with some practice.
