[3v3] Warlock / Frost Mage / S.Priest

Thoughts on both the team and the 'Lock's spec for optimum performance using this combo.

It seems, on paper, to offer a sort of mini-4dps team wherein any Warriors would be fodder. Dispels, tons of CC, and healthstones on top of incredible spike damage.

We played this setup in s1 and a month or so in s3, with our lock as affl, its an ok setup and warriors go down fast, but after all youre lacking heals and we found any team with decent cc fucking us up and our mage was gonna quit, so we got a druid instead and it's working much better. In late s1 we were at about 2100 rating, but we barely managed 2000 in s2 as this setup.

As Lesdo said you would benefit of switching the mage for a druid.

The synerge between spriest and warlock is excellent with the increase in shadow dmg and CC that do not break on damage. However by having a mage you need to keep one target without dots which in order for the mage to be able to cc affectively.

The marginal profit of taking a druid would be far more than a mage.
