View Full Version : Getting your woman more interested in WoW.

Back when I was dating this girl, I wanted her to play WoW and get hooked like me so that we could play together. I tried to get her to play all the time but she just would not do it and said it looked dumb. So one day I made a surefire bet on something and she took it, her penalty for losing was that she had to lvl a character to 10. I figured she would get hooked if she played it that long, and she did. So I asked her to marry me and we are now engaged. We both have alot of fun playing together and it is great.

But she is still not quite as in to it as me, for instance if I have the weekend off, I would have no problem playing the entire weekend putting in 15 hours a day; however, she usually craps out at 3 to 4 hours. In addition she is not quite as into it as me, always thinking of improving and PvP.

Anyone, have any tips on how to bring her interest up so she is equally into the game as I am?

I think what you should be trying to do is bring your interest down rather than hers up.

...yeah... 15 hrs a day? 3-4 is pretty good already, 15 hrs...seems like an addiction =P

you have only one option...

withhold the cawk until she's been in game for at least 6 hours

Be glad that she plays WoW at all and doesn't just bitch at you for doing it.

Sound advice.

Your engagement isn't going to last long and/or your marriage is going to suckif you try to force your interest (an interest she obviously doesn't share and probably only does to appease you), nay - your ADDICTION on her. Go outside with the woman. Take her to do things. Treat her well. FFS, if you really love her, you'll stop trying to force her into shit she doesn't want to do.

How would you feel if she was in love with crocheting and forced you to do it for hours at a time?

Well said. IMO that is a far far far worse situation then playing WoW however.
