Anyone else stacking a few spell hit gems and enchants next season? resisted cyclones are game breaking and it really sucks to lose to shit like that >< Thinking about like 2 or 3 gems and some glove enchants. Prolly shoulda gotten my cape enchanted too ><

I know pwyff was talking about that on his blog (gameriot)... I'm definitely considering it.

You can also get 14 hit from the helm enchant if you are willing to give up 13 healing.

I have considered it several times, ususally after a resist or resist chain lost a match for me.

I just can't see giving up the gem slots for it though. And the head enchant is even more of a loss stats-wise because you are wasting itemvalue on a stat you don't use (spelldamage).

Maybe after 2.3 when I will be using insect swarm.

It's 22 spell damage and healing, so the marginal loss is 13 healing and 7 mana per 5 .

Dont take dps helm enchant, it's too big loss, but take few spellhit gems (I'm going for 3% hit next season, which is cap iirc and penetration on cloak instead of shadow res, since s3 caster weapons have penetration). Druids have enough yellow sockets so it's np to fit hit gems in. I already got few from heroics (5 hit 2mp5 / 6 sta 5 hit) which are also tiny profit on stats budget and I'll add one 8 hit dawnstone or maybe 10 if guildbank will fancy sponsoring me :p. Also take 15 spellhit on gloves instead of 35 healing, it's about same stat value (1 gem can be either 8 spellhit or 18 healing, times two it's 16 vs 36, there's no loss there)

What Swiftleaf said. Thow if you want to compare that you should compare to 35 healing. Since you loose 13 healing and 7 MP5 for 14 hit on the headslot, or you loose 35 healing for 15 hit on the gloveslot.
