Hey fellow glads, this is my first little QQ after playing wow since the first beta...
iam playing on an EU pve server with not enough good players for serious 5v5 / good 3v3 setup so iam stuck with 2s and only doing 10games a week lately to just stay in top10. Ive been playing priest class for good 450+ /played and my sl/aff lock partner is probably the best player ive met so far.
Every matchup we face is fine until we meet a warr+healer team with brain. Post tbc top tier warriors seem to destroy me in a matter of seconds no matter my 500resi and 12k hp +1300-1400heal, good warrior and his partner wont allow coex kite for long, i only got one trinket and intercept is 15sec, they will disallow any manadraining as well. They wont allow the Warr to drop too low either, so its not possible to finish him while having the healer cc'd, if warr goes for lock instead, ill oom before their healer does, no time to manaburn chasing the healer in los while having to spamheal the lock vs MS and being hamstrung very likely as well.
We still win say 70% of these fights by just timing things right and outplaying them in general but thing ive been wondering after tbc is if i am actually wasting time still playing a priest ? When i could just roll a resto druid and laugh at warriors and rogues trying to chase me while i just hot the lock up and freely (felhunter dispels JoJ) run all over the place loSing around.. while having an arsenal of reliable cc's and interrupts as well ready to use to control the fight...
So iam wondering if theres any pro druid who could comment on this and tell me iam right or prove me wrong and let me know that theres also things which druids have problems with in 2s which make them want to be priest instead. After these 3 years of playing this is the first time iam losing hope in my beloved class when i compare to druids. Feels like they do everything better than me nowadays, just cant dispel magic and manaburn, but that doesnt stop them from outlasting...
