DT vs. Gorehowl

I have both, currently using the hell out of my DT. Getting a skillherald is out of the question since I quit raiding a long time ago and am not willing to put in that much time. What I plan to do is get S3 sword the first week of S3 and be set for a while on that.

What I'm interested to know about is, would going Axe spec and using Gorehowl since it is more top-end damage and a lot more crit be better than using DT? My main team is my 5s but we recently started taking 2s seriously too.

Reason for asking this is, in some situtations, the mace stun doesn't really help at all, yet extra burst damage would have won the match.

2v2 DT no contest.
5v5 depends on your setup, i personally prefer axe or sword in this bracket because stunning a target for 4 seconds isnt really that big, 1/5 players while stunning in 2v2 is huge 1/2 half their team is stunned.
