Copying a post I made on WoW-EU-ENG forums, from a thread discussing the possibility of yet another Mortal Strike debuff/Snare on Mangle (http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=1468467053&sid=1&pageNo=1):

I think the two things crippling Feral the most is the loss of the old Natural Shapeshifter talent which gave a Swiftshifting buff after leaving a feral form (free shifting for 6 seconds) and a Nurturing Instinct talent worth taking (maybe 33% or 50% of Attack Power). The Swiftshifting talent should be high in the Feral tree, to not buff Restoration even more. Perhaps embeded in Survival of the Fittest, allowing the Feral druids to skip the Natural Shapeshifter Restoration-talent. It would add a hybrid feeling to the Feral tree, and effectively allowing, with the /cancelform buff in 2.3, to use the class to its fullest (CC, light healing, DPS). I don't think adding even more CCs and Mortal Strike effects is the right choice for druids. I would rather take the path of heavy hybridization rather than copying the "pure" classes.

I would add to that, the Furor clientside based and a 42 energy gain, to counter the new energy regeneration gain that basically make you lose the shift > shred possibility.

It would allow, with the /cancelform clientside to really play the druid as a shape/roleshifter in my opinion.

Rake needs to slow speed by 50%, put this in imp ff's place.

Put a 6 second cooldown on it if it's to imba.

Old nature shapeshifter would be nice. T5 instant regrowth talent could become a talent deep down in feral tree. Or maybe a feral version of natural's grace.

Imp FF's buff is lone due =(

Adding a slow to cat form that would slow 10% per combo point would be a cool idea IMO.

Well I don't really see the point of a slow in cat form, it's the range bug that obviously needs fixing. A slow in cat form plus my ideas would be a bit overpowered, I think.

Slowing ppl down are not that needed for the druid himself, since we already move at 30+15% speed in catform (as a sideeffect the rangebug would be reduced thow).
But the real use of a slowing effect are to use it to help your team. Eather to catch someone whos kiting, or to help your friends with there kiting. And right now we have very low synergy with just about every other class.

I like the 42 energy clientside furor thow. That would give us some very reliable burst dmg, with a quite extreme manacost thow. Personaly i have never had the connection to try out true powershifting. But i beleve that clientside shapeshifting and furor would make it much more reliable then it have ever been. This would however require blizzard to take a stand, were powershifting intended from the start or just an unwanted sideeffect?

And I would love the (very) old Swiftshifting. I dont realy remember, but werent this talent replaced back when every druid (even thows playing feral playstyle) were resto for innervate. And shapeshifting purely to breake snares were unusal, since you mostly wanted to cast the full regrowth+ht+revj before going back to bear (note that cat were out of the question)?

Edit: Forgot to mention, clientside furor would FINALY make feralcharge instant. If nothing else, i'll take that.
