Is Lo worth it?

My question is simply this is LO worth it? Will the patch changing it to 20% make it better than other talent in the elemental tree?

In my eyes I see it as a worthless 5 pts as of right now, most of the time in the 5s I get focused preventing me from casting much of my offensive spells until the time that burst is called even then its just a quick stream of attacks then back to kiting.

But in the patch with the massive buffs to water shield and mana spring who the hell needs unrelenting storm anymore. I for one will give the new lo a shot but if it’s unreliable as it is now back to the old spec.

Fellow pvp shamans give me some of your incite into the upcoming 2.3 changes.

It's not only worth it, it will become a manadatory in 2.3

Nothing else beats it at the moment. Focused mind is covered by playing with a a paladin with imp conc aura and mana regen can be handled with careful care of water shield and ooc drinking. As 40/0/21 you should pick up LO and in patch 2.3 it will be absolutely necessary to have LO.

2.2, unrelenting storms was probably better for a 2345 playing shaman. And hell, maybe even a 4 dps shaman as well.

2.3 lightning overload is mandatory. Every single elemental shaman will have it and will need it.
