well, i restarted a 3v3 today. and it went pretty well. our only trouble team was a warlock/druid/warrior.

i ran as destro, the spec i am. the other lock ran as SL/SL 23/38 and my priest changed it up after a few rounds from blessed resi to pain supression. we decided we liked pain supression alot more then a the blessed resi spec all around. including the PI reason as well.

well, the team we lost to(the only team to give us real trouble) the druid would stun me in stealth, pop out and cyclone me. which is fine, because his warrior is already at 20% life. but the lock/warrior are on my priest. and we can't do anything about it cause they are both undead. (this is where the weaknesses started showing)

also, dwarf priests kinda fucked us, so we had the sl/sl lock just do a howl of terror right at the beggining to get that nasty little buff off them. very effective. =)

the priest is always targeted first. which is fine now, with pain supression. we realized that i would have to burn the warrior fast. and if i had spell-locked the druid, or my partner spell-locked the druid, he woulda died...but we made mistakes.

rogue/mage/healer was easy. MS/retadin/priest was a breeze as well. we killed each others priests lol...and the SL/SL lock tanked them both until i blew them up.

i also remember being told that my partner being SL/SL was a waste. tonight it wasn't. he tanked alot of crap. rogues/warriors/hunters. it really opened up nice opportuinites for me to blow shit up effectivley.

gonna play more on the weekened. 16xx on the first night without hardcore grinding. i think 20-25 games. not bad. any thoughts?

16xx after 20-25 games sounds like you were losing a few, if you're losing at 1600 it is a pretty good sign that the team won't be very successful

i started playing this setup with my alt. except both wls are sl/sl. my equip is not that good (3 s2 , 300 res). i just started doin arena with my lock. its ridiculous how easy it was to rush past 2k. just dot everything up and start draining/burning the healers mana. you'll pretty much win everything with 2healer/1dps. rogues are tough but doable with coex, cow and draintanking. now we're struggling between 2000-2100 but mostly because of my equipment. i dont think you can pull off a gladi title with this setup but ist a nice way for my alt to get 1000p per week :-)

lost 9 i believe. yea, we weren't getting all wins. but im not worried about that. i remember my 2's in the start we would lose alot because we didn't have that synergy yet. now that the priest is resspecced, and we are learning to play with each other better, i think it will be fine. we got to 1787 with the last team, just re-rolled so we could control it. ill post updates
