Our druid needs help from kiting against 1 caster,1 melee dps on him at the same time it always means death. Everytime we go against one we lose, today we play against warrior, warlock, druid and all they do is just stick the warrior on the druid and the warlock chain fears and deathcoils, next thing we know hes dead. Is there anyway for our druid to kite the warrior effective enough for us to drop someone because most of the time the druid dies right after he dies.We also went against mage, rogue, priest and the mage and rogue just went on our druid and dropped him. Basically the rogue would hit on someone on our team and our druid would pop out, right when our druid pops out the rogue and mage rush toward him and attack him. The rogue will kidney shot and cheap shot him with the mage trying to shatter combo him. We run hunter, warlock, druid drain team and hit 2136 but dropped to 2077 because of this shit. Any kiting tips would help. If you need more information please let me know.

its not kiting problems
you guys just got out combo-ed.
a druid can not out run a lock with dots fears CoE with a warrior on him, just wont happen
and of course your going to die to a 3dps team
the only thing he can do to kite better is you guys CCing the people attacking him better

Try playing some more pillars. You definitely need the rogue feared in a situation against a frost mage/rogue. I've found it easy to kite a frost mage, but mixed with a rogue or warrior it is very deadly. Like the previous poster said, part of it is up to your warlock to fear that rogue. The rest is up to your druid. Get behind a pillar, and start stacking lifeblooms. Every time he is slowed he needs to spam travel form, and get away. Or, he can get away from the mage, then charge the mage, and travel form away. This will help to lose the rogue for a few seconds, if he can live long enough.

We rarely die to 3 dps because whoever gets focused just LoS and the other just drains. If they target our druid he just LoS and both the warlock and me drain. So what do you suggest against a warrior and warlock on him? Just fear the warlock and hope to god our druid can get away with my frost trap on the ground? Also for mage, priest, rogue that team had a dwarf priest so they had fear ward but if we can CC the rogue I guess we'd eventually oom that mage in no time and basically win the fight hopefully. Most of the time I see our druid out in caster form getting raped by the rogue while hes kidneyed, should he bear, enrage, frienze regen and barksin while in bear to get away fromt he rogue or mage?
typically, I need some help getting away from a rogue at the beginning of a fight when all of his cooldowns are up. 2x SPrint, AR, Vanish, CloS, blind along with shiv and skillful throw can keep me immobile for a while. AFter his cooldowns are down it becomes much, much easier.
Get your druid to watch the rogue when he's a little distance away so he can time up his shifts so Deadly Throw doesn't slow him down. A mage can only nova twice, and if he sees a pet pop up, he should be anticipating having to shift (and shifting to caster early).
Your druid should be eating the cheapshot and trinketing the kidney shot.
As for a warrior/warlock/druid team, you have to take advantage of the fact that they have no defensive dispell (save Devour Magic), and get a root (Natures Grasp)/cyclone off on the warrior... he also has to pick a good place to destealth so he isn't immediately feared by the warlock...
Since you're a drain team all your druid really has to do is avoid being killed for the first minute and you should win the fight as a DPS would be OOM. Just expect him to need a little help from you two at the beginning of the fight. IF you can effectively keep people off of him, which you should be able to do between fears and traps, you should win. Just understand that you may need start holding off on your drains until your druid can cleanly get away from the physical DPS pounding on him. DRaining someone's mana only to have your healer die isn't going to be effective, so its up to the druids PArtners to help him out at the beginning.

Ok heres the deal, against Warlock-Warrior, LoS the warlock but most importantly you gotta ask your warrior or rogue of your team to slow the warrior. Make sure to get alot of distance from the warrior (sometimes it only takes a warstomp).
Against Rogue-Mage, if your LoS of Mage most dmg will come from Rogue, so you gotta trinket out of the kidney shot of the rogue, shift out out, abolish poison, barkskin, bearform-charge the mage and LoS. The rogue should be slowed by then. You need to get away from their initial burst.
What you should never never never do against both of those teams is to stand in the wide open. Also try to pop out very late in the fight, even if it means you gotta NS the person that is being focus fired.
But yeah in general most of the time your team mates have to help you get off the warrior off you for a split second so you can run away and get alot of distance. Make sure to call it in vent when you need help.

Location seems to be very key in these 3 v 3s and at the moment I'd like to ask you druids where its a good place for you to stand to have the best advantage that comes. On BE we drag them to the bottom so our druid can stand on a pillar and do whatever he wants if they're on us. If not our druid has to kite completely with fears, deathcoil, frost trap/freezing, and scatter shot being our only CC from me and the warlock. What about the other 2 maps for you guys? Where would you guys like to be. Still I'm adressing that when my druid needs to heal himself he always seems to get stunned or some type of CC on him and gets completely raped by the time he gets out. I just don't understand why everytime he dies hes in caster form and not always in bear. Does frienzied regeneration/enrage/barkskin combo work very well or is it not efficient at all.
May I also ask you what you guys do first to be able to tank a warrior/rogue very well. I see some druids just being able to tank them for so long, sometimes also chaining maim --> cyclone --> regrowth and then to cheetah and booking it.
Its always a good strategy to keep the fight below your healer in Blade's Edge...
In Nagrand, I find it best to be LoSing around the opposite close pillar... not sure if that's too clear, so lemme make a crude drawing to illustrate it:
o = pillars (Ignore the .'s forum won't let me space things out with spacebar)
....o.......o
Meo........o Everyone else
On Lord, figuring out how buggy that center Tome is with LoS is the key, but Lord is my worst arena, probably because I haven't taken the time to mess around with LoS with the little tombstones.

So I guess if my druid can LoS the CC(Fear) and casting damage, he should be able to survive as long as he can kite the rogue. We usually get the fel hunter to dispell all buffs off the freedomed target so he can kite as well when theres a paladin. I know I've asked this question quite a bit but how much of a difference is a bear w/ bark skin vs one without. Also whats worth more to cast cyclone or roots? Last but not least when you kite whats your general path to kite in and if you were kiting where would it be best for my frost trap to slow them down.
Edit: Is rejuvinating gem(SP) worth it in arena or is there any better trinket for our matrix.

A very good druid can kite any class (except a good prep/AR rogue) almost indefinately. This is limited to 1 dps against the 1 resto druid, but when a druid has to deal with an MS warrior + warlock (just a 2 dps example - this could also be a rogue/mage or anything else really)... the druid will eventually be caught or feared resulting in a fairly quick death (espeically with MS debuff up).
When people refer to great druid kiters in 2v2 or in 3v3, they tend to forget that what enables a druid to kite so effectively is often team-mate support. Your druid needs to be very vocal and let you know when he/she needs help. Eventually, your team should come to the point where you *know* when your druid is in trouble and can help him out effectively without being explicitly told to or when your druid is effectively kiting on his own and you can focus on killing an enemy/locking down their healers rather than playing a control game.
Hope this helped.

What Tribby said.
"fears, deathcoil, frost trap/freezing, and scatter shot being our only CC from me and the warlock". And thats no small list, if timed right your druid should be able to gain some distance on almost every one of thows spells. You dont need to chain cc one of your opponents for it to be effective cc.
And with the cyclone that a druid brings instead of the manaburn from a priest, i would call you a cc + drain team rather then a pure drain team. Think about it.

I've been hearing about a macro that makes shift shaping really quick or "instantly" like sometimes it goes from bear --> cheetah. Also what are some macros you use that would almost every resto druid should have?

ah and try find a druid who doesn't need help with all this or he won't be good for glad anyway. best way to find out is watch your candidate carry warsong flags against multiple enemies.

maybe ur druid can try bearing up right before eating cs and just tank out cs into ks, then hopefully charge away

In the end, a lot of a druid's kiting effectiveness comes down to a teammates help, and at very specific times.
hopefully your druid is very vocal about what he wants at any given time, for instance, i've called for blinds on a warrior or rogue thats fully dotted up just becuase i know that the .5 second stop in movement and the random direction it faces him will be enough for me to get away and for us to win a game. Its difficult for you to make a decision like this on your own, so, if hes shy at all on vent about what he needs from you to help live though FF, tell him to speak up.
druid kiting in 2's and 3's is about 70% team coordination and 30% individual druidic skillz.

i pass the time in AV by tanking frostwolf GY and its 3-4 alliance defenders until i die or go oom and die.
if i die with mana, they win.
if i die oom, i win :D
