Quick check on something to make sure I'm not crazy. Ever since my old counter strike days I have been moving with WASD. In my keybinding thread someone said its easy if you know how to type, which I do. But, when I rest my hand on the keys my index finger is on D and I use my middle finger to move forward and backward; where as when you type your index finger would rest on F.

Am I supposed to rest my hand the same as I would if I were typing, resting my index finger on F and move forward and backward with my ring finger for easier reach of keybindings?

EDIT: Also, does anyone know what QQ means?

QQ is another form of T_T, basically representing two eyes crying, usually used sarcastically to mock the person complaining/whining about the topic at hand.

Hehe, funny question.
QQ means whine more, cry more, ect.

When someone is complaining about OP locks and such, QQ.

Anyway to answer your qeustion your middle finger should be on the one to press W with your pointer and ring finger strafing for you. Probably just like your CS binds.

I actually removed the turn keys and just changed them to strafe turning with my mouse, CS did that to me. Try that maybe. Good luck

I keep my hand on WASD, your explanation with resting on the F key sounds really weird.

The best answer you'll ever hear on this subject.

Your keybindings and personal placement of your hands should be determined by your own comfort and style.

Erm wtfux hold down both mouse buttons at once to move.

I use Q and E for strafing, and move with my mouse. Holding down both mouse buttons makes you run, and holding down the right mouse button allows you to turn with the mouse. It's quicker than turning with your keyboard. Just use whatever is best for you though.

I don't get it, how it it faster to run holding your mouse butons? And how will you select someone if you have to hold your mouse butons (tab is totaly screwed) at that moment?
And what's the point on strafing (i mean the keybidings *strafing* in menu*) when you can both strafe and turn while holding your mouse + A and D?

don't you find it a waste of prime hotkey real estate when you use Q and E to strafe? I mean you don't actually need both strafe and turn keys do you?
