Armor Question S1 - S2

I have 4/5 S1 and the shoulders and gloves of s2, I am trying to decide if it is still better to use 4/5 s1 over 3/5 s1 2/5 s2? I miss the look of s2 but is the 4 set really worth it in arena

This is for my alt warrior lvl 70.

Also what gems would be best to use? Resil and stam or AP, crit?

You'll get the four set bonus in any case.

Moot point, but yes it is very useful in arena.

Warriors tend to stack AP and crit for their gear. Concentrating on one or the other is up to their style.

are they changing something in 2.3 I havn't read the notes about armor or war stuff?

Also do you find not having Tactical mastery good without being able to instant Spell reflect? I am just starting 2v2 with a druid just curious. I also uses maces so would flurry still be as useful?

In 2.3 it'll be one big set, as in, even if you have 3 pieces of S1 and 2 pieces of S2, you'll still get the 4th set bonus. However, you wont be able to obtain 2 times +35 resi bonus.

Personally I'm going for str/crit in every yellow socket and full str in every red socket. I'm trying to stack the armor pen from the pvp items and then max out my ap as much as possible.

Never really had TM before, but gonna try and see how it is, not sure where I would put the points if not in TM anyways, heh.

In 2v2 I tend to run with Battle Shout if it's a healer + dps team. If it's a dual dps team with heavy nuke I'll run with Commanding Shout. Basically if you have to beat on a person for a long time, run with Battle. If you're getting nuked hard the 1.5k health is win.
