We are about 3-3 against this warrior druid team right now and we cannot seem to get a good plan that works, we try killing druid but that just lets us get owned by the warrior.

Any tips? We try fearing druid killing warrior but that only works sometime, we cannot seem to figure out a good plan against this match up

The plan i use will work better after 2.3 when Blind becomes a physical effect.

What you do is you 1v1 the warrior with your void shield until the druid pops, then have your rogue jump the druid, blind it, and then come lock down the warrior. The druid will trink the blind (or not, it doesnt matter) and you fear it away, while killing the warrior. The druid is now CCed for 18 seconds of free warrior killing. If you fail to kill the warrior in this time (sometimes he'll put on a shield.....) you will probably lose.

Watch happyminiti's (spelling) latest video. They face druid-war a couple of times.

A good druid is going to stay at maximum range from his warrior meaning that after he trinkets the rogues blind, he'll be able to heal his warrior partner and stay out of fear range.

When we lose to this team, its a result of the rogue stayin stealthed while the warlock just solo's the warrior. Eventually the druid has to pop since the warlock is going to kill the warrior before the warrior will kill him, then when I pop and start hotting, the rogue jumps me.

Typically I trinket the kidney shot and the rogue immediately blinds me. This leaves me with a full blind while my poor warrior is getting bashed to pieces by a lock/rogue. A crafty rogue will also vanish with 3 or 4 seconds left in blind and then sap me (assuming I shifted), after sap, I get feared. Essentially I'm locked down forever. To beat War/Druid your CC has to be perfect, the same is true for just about every Double DPS team out there.

keep abolish poison on yourself to prevent blind.

could also stay close to warrior who could demo shout to pull rogue out of stealth. just a few suggestions

I run warlock rogue and our strat is a little different. I am not SL/SL so soloing the warrior typically does not work as well, and against a good druid he will be staying out of LOS or range almost the whole time so fearing the druid is not an option and blind is usually not enough CC to stop swiftmend/NS if the druid started hotting early.

What I did is spec into felguard for intercept, which I pretty much only use against druids. The extra intercept stun helps my rogue stay on their druid and if you can get your first felguard out with a regular summon then you can fel dom summon another one to reset intercept cooldown for an additional stun.

A lot of people think the best way is to save the blind for later in the fight once the druid has already used their trinket. The problem with this is that the warrior can kill your rogue very quickly if you dont controll the druid enough to make the warrior go defensive and the druid can stay max range so its pretty obvious when the rogue is going for the blind and he can put up abolish.

If you start out with a voidwalker shield out you should have a very easy time 1v1ing the warrior and forcing the druid to come out. (Using a +dmg trinket will help a lot too.) At this point the rogue should try to get an opener on the druid before he can get too many heals up and you should try to dispell as many off the warrior as you can.
If you can know 100% when the druid is going to use his trinket then you can controll the fight a lot better and you arent just hoping to get your CC right. The best way my team has found to do this is by opening CS -> Gouge -> Blind. At this point if you are doing enough dmg to the warrior the druid absolutely has to trinket the blind and never got a chance to put up abolish. (If he sits in the blind it can be followed by a vanish sap aswell.) As soon as he trinkets your rogue will have enough combo points to land a 4+ second kidney which can be followed by a fear fairly easily because the druid also wont have moved after your rogue opened and should be in LoS. Another nice thing about blinding early is that your rogue can then focus on killing the warrior after the KS and doesnt have to worry about saving sprint to get in range for blind.

Hope this helps.

After 2.3 when abolish poison has no affect on blind, do you think it'll be best to save the blind for if/when the druid trinkets the ks? Since usually when they trinket they pop in to humanoid form to HoT the warrior, enabling for a stealth/vanish sap.

today I 1v1'd the warrior, the druid popped, as soon as he popped i had my rogue get on druid, while i coex spammed him and we killed druid, then killed the warrior, is this basically the only way to win?

Yeah; me and my rogue use this method and we haven't lost once to a druid team yet.

It's not the only way, but it's an extremely effective way.

me and my rogue usually just dps the warrior till the druid pops out, and I manage to get 1 fear off on druid he trinkets, rogue blinds him and we kill warrior, works like 8/10 times

this is similar to what we use

we also have a similar win rate vs druid warrior, unless its one of those BT geared warrior that decides he doesnt really give a shit about your 470 resil and just wtfpwns you through it.
