Mystical Skyfire Diamond in 2.3

Since MSD is getting a nerf in 2.3 (45 sec hidden cooldown) I was wondering if it's still worth getting as a hpriest. Since i hardly ever use spells with casttime, i still like the idea of 1 sec mana burn or 1,25 sec Greater Heal, but with nerf coming up I'm having my doubts.

What are you other holy priests gonna put in your season 3 heads?

il buy s3 head later, so i check how msd works in action (not the ptr kind of person).

After that 18 stam looks like best choice, but perhaps mana?!

Sticking with focus, at least for PvP.

The beautiful thing about the gem is proccing a half cast gheal or mana burn off the instants that you cast so often - even with the hidden cooldown :p I just don't see things such as 5s resses being pulled off as often with the nerf.

I'm not sure what to do anymore about the meta slot in my S3 helm.

In 2.2, I wasn't sure about the MSD in the first place, so I stuck with "+18 Sta/5% Stun Resist" for a while. Eventually, I tried out the MSD, and it's been my favorite gem so far. With this nerf, however, I'm not sure it'll be quite as potent. I've had chain procs where I got two back to back gheals, or at least two procs in under 45s, and I've used them for various things.

45s seems to almost make the gem worthless. It seems to make it entirely too situational. Before I could hit a 1.25s gheal, then 10-20s later, hit a 1.5s MC or 1s mana burn. I really think they should reduce the internal cooldown, or just leave it the way it is.

I'm really thinking I'm going to be stacking mostly +15 stam and the "+18 Sta/5% Stun Resist", but eh, we'll see.
