How do u think it will stand up against these to games....i know i am very excited about this game...really hope it doesn't let me down......

It will.
If you think wow is unbalanced you havent seen war yet.
You know why they call their pvp rvr? because they dont even attempt to balance 1v1 or 3v3. They balance it clearly from zerg vs zerg perspective.
And zerg vs zerg is not even remotely fun. 2 groups standing and max range each waiting for fools to charge. Waiting for aoe stuns and aoe silences to get of cooldown for group lockdown and rush.
Also combat is very slow paced at least at levels 20s 30s where i tried it.
Basicly all pvp comes down to who can muster more ppl to zerg you.
Other than instanced battlegrounds which are quite like wow ones just way more static.
Only bonus side is that all skills are more combo based. Less spamming damage more building up debuffs/buffs to boost your next spells. And casting 2 spells in different oreder often has very different effectivness.
It would be cool of general balance was not soooooo tottaly out of whack.

Ya that is true....but I come from UO when numbers always played a factor....so i guess i can get use to it....UO was by far the best PvP game ever....all the ppl that played UO WoW DAOC etc... all the other MMOs out there...they all say DAOC was the close thing to UO in PvP fun etc....and same ppl that are making War made DAOC so we will see....regardless i will try it....i wish my computer could handle AoC so I could try the PvP out in that game....

a few random thoughts on this topic

I've said this before and I'll keep saying it. It's impossible to balance games like wow and warhammer.

The new breed of MMO players (and lets face it, wow made a ton of these people) don't know shit about how mmos work. They just whine and bitch about everything unless they're playing the most overpowered thing possible in every scenario. That's not how mmos work. You either play whats good or you suffer the consequences because it will never be 100% even. If your class is good at 1v1 then you 1v1, you don't fucking whine about not being useful in a group. If you want to be useful in a group you make something else and then don't whine about sucking 1v1.

Zergs? Another person talking about things they don't understand or they're just one of those idiots who'd rather complain than figure out how to play correctly given the circumstances. IF YOU DONT LIKE ZERGS THEN DONT ZERG AND DONT FIGHT ZERGS.

Daoc had zergs, but zergs are what bad players do. So you just take your 8 man and go slaughter noobs 8vs40 because you're better than they are or if you can't zerg farm then you just don't fight them. Not to mention, players who prefer even fights always found ways to get them and it will be no different in warhammer.

The important thing in a pvp based mmo is end game character advancement VIA PVP. Wow's character advancement is gear, this means limited arena or parking your ass in an instance raiding, neither of which are conductive to a pvp environment with any longevity. Daoc's endgame character advancement was realm points and RAs. This means to advance your character you had to explicitly NOT spend all your time pveing and instead stay out and kill people. This will be similar in warhammer although it remains to be seen how much of a factor gear advancement will be. It also means, pugging a few people and going out to fight is still beneficial to you which keeps the action going. The same cannot be said for wow arena.

to summarize it for the tldr people

Warhammer will live or die based off of end game character advancement coming from pvp. The all elusive "balancing" that can never be fully accomplished does not matter.

I just hope gear is not the end all be all of how the pvp(or should say RvR) is on there. One thing that do very cool about there "gear" is that you can put on trophies...and from my understanding there will a ton of different ones so because can there own set up...they don't really do much other then looks but its nice to help make your char unique.....which seems pretty cool to me....and u get them from killing X amount of ppl etc...instead of every class looking like every other one with the same class

Well... ppl look more unique in wow tbh
War = same looks for each class every 10 levels. blues have different hue than greenies.
But that might be beta thing. I really do hope they add more variety at release.
