Since I haven't gone 30+ in discipline ever since my guild was doing Huhuran tries pre-tBC, can someone who's tested this tell me if (as it was stated in a previous blue post and is implied by the talent description) the PS talent's anti-dispel mechanic works passively?

In other words, does simply having PS, regardless of if its shield is up at the time, give you a 65% resistance to having your buffs dispelled? And if so, how does it stack with silent resolve?

I just think that given how much we depend on our magic buffs and how many we got, having such a resistance would be quite good in arenas.

Anyone who's tested this first hand?

It stacks with silent resolve, but i'm sure having PS doesn't give you a passive 65% dispel resist, unless we got really unlucky. I tested it with a mage(spellsteal(yes its the same mechanic as dispel)).

I could have sworn I read somewhere that the mechanic was changing. And the wording does imply that. Hopefully it's a bug that might get fixed eventually, it would be really nice if we had serious dispel spam resistance.

Instantly reduces a friendly target's threat by 5%, reduces all damage taken by 40% and increases resistance to Dispel mechanics by 65% for 8 sec.
