I've been wondering if it'd be worth it to wear 3 piece satin and 2 piece mooncloth as a shadow priest seeing as we get 1/3 of the healing as damage. Not only it'd give the double resilience bonus again but it would also increase my healing by quite a bit which I think would be amazing in 2v2, not sure about 3v3 and 5v5 though.
Thoughts?

It doesn't give double the resilience bonus anymore in 2.3. All the pieces count towards the entire set.

I'm pretty sure you're wrong. It's just the different seasons of the same type such as satin(damage) and mooncloth(healing) share the same set bonus AFAIK.

Too bad Satin and Mooncloth aren't one set. They are counted as two.
Only the same set pieces of different seasons count as one.

rofl. but anyways, i think just getting one piece of the holy gear is fine ( the holy gloves) cuz imo the 4 piece bonus is > than 35 more res.

You realise they changed the shadow gloves to the same bonus as the holy ones right?
Honestly, I hate the 4 piece (unless they ninja changed it and I haven't seen a new one yet?) and as a healer, I will absolutely continue to stack 3 piece Mooncloth/2 piece Satin as I have been doing all of season 2 (I did it for the armor).
