Is it worth it to use this bow rather than S3 bow or S2 bow(well gun next season)? We lose stam,resilience,crit but we gain a mana burn from each attack.

Eh, I was really dead set on using it, but after thinking about it, 8 mana per hit really isn't that great... I'm just going to use a Bristlebritz Striker next season.

I heard someone talking about how the 8 mana drain is REALLY important in arena fights and overall pvp. I don't know how accurate that is.

Lucky for me, I don't have to choose. I don't raid so I will be using the arena stuff.

It was reported in the 2.3 PTR Notes that this issue was fixed. However, a close friend of mine (Airwavez on this board) tested this personally, and it was not fixed. The issue has been reported, and I'm quite sure it's gotten to Kalgan at least by this point. ;)

Honestly, it's situational. In my opinion, the season 3 crossbow is better than Black Bow in 5v5. The sheer amount of stats in exchange for an extra +30 or so top end plus a mana burn/gain is worth it.

However, in 2v2 or 3v3, the Black Bow is much better.

And as far as the mana burn breaking Scatter Shot, this bug still isn't fixed (5 PTR builds later, fucking faggots at Blizzard).

And Bristleblitz Striker owns both bows in most PvP situations. 28 stamina and 25 crit rating is fucking monster.
