Alrite so I'm tryin' to revive the old Mage/Warrior/Healer combo for S3. Back in the day I ran this setup with a paladin and we capped just under 2k when 3-dps teams were becoming popular. The problem was that our warrior would get blown up in the 20+ seconds of CC that they would drop on our Paladin.
So, my question is really whether to stick with the Paladin and really work on the strats or sub in a quality resto druid.
I can see the druid performing better due to his ability to avoid being locked down and his CC. We will however lose the defensive cleanse and freedom for the warrior. I think roots can help the freedom issue, and well timed cyclones can help when the warrior is CC'd.
Let me know what ya think.
