Trying to calc gladiator with the new reqs.

The thing is, a lot of teams in the top gladiator contention no longer qualify for gladiator, so it is possible the rating requirements will work out the same. I'll take a sampling from some smaller battlegroups and try to apply the same ratio to the larger battlegroups.

For anyone who doesn't know what we're talking about.
While the date for the end of Season 2 has not yet been announced, we wanted to let everyone know beforehand about a change to the requirements for a team to be counted towards the total teams considered for the end of season rewards.

Our goal with this change is to remove teams from being counted that could not already be eligible for the end of season rewards. By not counting them we’re effectively limiting the pool of teams that are added up before calculating the final 0.5% for the end of season rewards.

The requirements for a team to be counted (both requirements must be met):


* The team must have played at least 20 games during the season.
* The team must have at least one player that has played in 20% or more of the total games for that team.



As the requirement to be eligible for the end of season rewards is also 20% participation for the entire season, this overlap merely ensures that teams that have active and eligible members will be counted.

Also, I think this effectively shows that Tigole's comment about player qualification for team rewards being 20% of the teams last 100 games played is not true.

It may be a broad assumption, but from my experience there are far fewer inactive teams near the top of the Battlegroup than there is lower down. When a team is abandoned, it is usually sold. Otherwise, a disproportionately low % of people abandon a team that is in Gladiator contention. It's impossible to say though.

i don't even know if my battlegroup has 10 teams =/

i would like to see that cut off link that the website had before, so we can guess on what % would be cutoff.

this is the part that does show. i think my BG has like 6300 teams =/ problem is if half of those(i know its a big stretch) are inactive then its really gonna mess with me

i just did my own little sampling. when i got to the 1500 mark. pages upon pages of no games
about 60 pages of no games for the retaliation side...not sure about the frenzy one. but they do count in our BG...armory is just fucked up.

these are just the teams with no games played. i saw MANY teams with not 20 games played...
thats an 18% of all teams are inactive in my BG at LEAST.

my BG has 8k people in it. even if half are inactive...4k teams would be active, meaning i need top 20 to make gladiator. im tied for 14th i think with some other team who couldn't play anymore.
