Wanting some input on this 3v3 matrix. We decimated a bad pally/warlock/warrior team that seemed a bit under-skilled, but didn't have time to experiment any further.

Toss some input. The concept is pretty much just durability - a tough choice on which target to go for and a steady supply of damage, with burst capability, and outrageous CC.

The downside is the lack of compatibility between the SL/SL style of play (DoT everything and outlast) and polymorph. What we found to be the best method was a simple targetting system, with a primary dps target, a primary CC target, and a secondary dps target. The primary and secondary dps were loaded up on DoTs, and the secondary dps was CCed by the Lock while the Mage Poly-spammed the primary CC.

The use of 2 counter-spells, good melee control, and double arcane torrent (2 BEs) netted us some very stable, decisive wins so far.

This matrix is being tested and played for the first time in a 2100+ environment, but it's looking good so far.

All input is appreciated :)

that is the exact combo i play in my 3v3 too, me being the mage, we have not came to a stationary rating i dont think yet, we have too much win% compared to losses so more rating rise to come :P
our tactics are that i let the warlock soak in his dots on the target we kill first while i sheep a dps who is attacking me or warlock, then we jump into action - i nuke the target and counterspell heals from healer (if not resto druid) then i just focus on the target whilst lock does the rest of the cc with death coil and spell lock, if its druid healer - druid dies first, and we fear / sheep other targets (since dr00d can't dispel :)) - oh and sometimes the pala stops heals with hammer of justice. anyway these tactics work well so far maybe until we start meating expert teams? i dont know - but hopefully we can get that 35 more points for gladiator

First off, thank you for your input, but after checking out your armory and heading to your 3v3 team you may want to either speak to your Warlock about his spec or find a new Warlock. Not sure if he has some kind of jumbled PvE spec or a horrendous PvP spec but it's currently bad nonetheless.

We're still looking for a cieling ourselves, and glad to hear you're in the same boat.

I play priest mage lock and I find switching your CC targets often and your DPS target often is vital to the setup. It requires a lot more communication and skill but it will help you in the end.

When we play Rogue teams we often end up dpsing the entire team at one point or another depending on the phase of the game.

For example against a rogue/lock/druid team at the start of the game we will initially start with a sheep on the rogue (with coex) a fear on the warlock and begin dps/mana drain on the druid. Once the rogue has blown his sprint/clos etc we'll generally switch to fear on the druid, sheep on the lock while kiting and dpsing the rogue hard.

When the druid moves back in to heal the rogue we'll go back to sheeping the rogue, fearing the lock and mana draining/dpsing the druid. If one of the targets doesn't drop quickly, we'll generally continue this cycle of control, dps, drain until their druid is oom and then we'll finish them off.

how can you immediately switch dps from rouge to druid, with sheep i mean he would have dots on him

If he's on someone and I can't fear him we'll often just tank him until dots wear off, while cc'ing the druid/lock and using CoeX frost novas to limit his dps as much as possible.

Oh I lied in my previous post, we only sheep the rogue as a last resort pretty much if he's dpsing my pet hard or one of us squishies, other wise we kite/dps him until a sheep is needed.
