Hey, season 3 is coming soon so we are all trying to get glad. But me and warlock buddy have kind of hit a wall just shy of what we need. Now I think we are both good players with alot of experience with our classes but we lack correct strategy to take it any further I think. So what im looking for is advice specifc to this set up. I have trolled around pretty hard for answers but it seems every lock who used to roll with a priest now rolls with a druid or pally.

Anyway I have read that priest/lock is sposed to beat druid/lock but we often lose this match just due to me eventually being fully drained 15 minutes later while their healer still has about 2-3k mana. My lock seems to have alot of trouble when people pole dance, esp due to the aus ping. But for me they eventually get los coe and then start drains. What should my lock be doing in this situation?

Its kind of a similar situation with pallies due to the face they have bof they can pole dance easier than myself with freedom. Even tho the pet eats it a second or two later they can still get out of los again.

Its just really frustrating playing these 15 minute games just because i get burned a tiny bit more.

So if someone could provide specific instructions/strategy it would be appreciated.

also my lock is spec'd 23/38 which i read to be the spec for when combined with a pally, does this mage a big diff?

Have your warlock kill the pet to bring the druid out. Keep pulling out of LoS.

I'm suprised how many mirror teams still don't know you're supposed to go for the pet.

Isn't the pet gonna resist heaps of your dps? Does this work? I mean you spend quite alot of time out of los of your own lock while you run in circles trying to avoid los so when he does get los won't it be difficult to land stuff with all the pets resistance. Also do you put your pet on the lock or druid in this situation?

If the other healer is kiting me due to my horrible ping, I'll usually switch to dps on the other warlock or execute a fear lock banish pet combo in order to allow my healer to drink.

A couple of tips to help:

Use name plates to kite the enemy warlock around pillars
Have your warlock keep CoS on the enemy pet at all times if a quick banish/fear is needed (or as shadowborne said, just dps it to bring the other healer out)
On ruins of lordaeron always be on the lookout for a chance to desummon the other warlocks felhunter. It's insanely lame, but at that rating there are still enough warlocks who will let this happen to them.

Can't think of any more at this time :\
