[2v2] Help! Mage+Rogue vs Warlock+Rogue

We were undefeated up to 2050 until we saw this combo and now this combo is rocking us.


Anyone know how to beat it? Rogue always seems to open on mine, and I can't beat the lock.

My rogue can see your rogue because i have my felhunter out. What teams with mages usually do vs me is gank the warlock and try their best to CC the rogue, with a combination of Freeze, Blind, Sheep, Vanish+Sap, ETC. Then focus the warlock after the rogue is CCed.

I just gave you advice to kill me. eh..

But yea, I guess I better focus the lock, but how can we CC rogue? You eat it with pet, even when I stack WC on it.

Yeah, it's really hard for me to even move in on the lock at all. I have to play a waiting game, which, in turn...I lose my mage. I can't really do much against this team at all, the rogue is rocking almost the exact same spec as myself. Normally the rogue is mutilate for that burst DPS, which it wouldn't be so hard if he was since mutilate rogues lack on cooldowns and ways to escape certain burst damage and what not. The only thing I could think of was using blind on the felhunter, rendering it useless to devour he sheeps we were using, even then, it's almost impossible to pull that off, needs alot of work between the 2 of us to pull that one off.

(Note: Roswend still needs a mic...haven't used any voice chat - vent as of yet...Lazy Mage!)

Have you tried spending a GCD or two to stack debuffs on the rogue? WC / r1 frostbolt slow, maybe detect magic, should be enough to keep the rogue in the second sheep after trinket.

Yeah my mage was stacking winterschill(or frostbite, don't really know to much about mages as far as that goes -.-) and a detect magic as well. Luckily for us we didn't run into them for the rest of the night. Still wanting to try out the blind felhunter tactic, but haven't fought any teams like theirs as of last night.

I wouldn't blind the felhunter because damage on the warlock will just waste the blind... Probably your best bet would be to focus fire me and try to bring me down. I will always be on the rogue in that combo because it's so much easier to get to them then be kited around by a mage.

We point traded between you guys and I think a spriest/warlock combo for a good hour or so, we ended up from 2206 to 2059 by the end of this weekend :-(
