Its probly not worth it but I was considering this one day and started thinking: ok my ratings are doing nicely and all but warriors and rogues are still nightmares especially if they pair with druid/priest. What is the best build to counter our counters, even if you give up dmg talents?

SL/SL varietion for sure. Fel concentrations usefullness is debatable depending on team setup. Empowered corruption could be traded for more survivability in shadow embrace maybe. but it scales so well while shadow embrace does not.

So in the end youd have something like 5/5 shadow embrace and 2 improved curse of weakness... maybe like 3 fel concentration. itd be nice to get demonic resilance in since your pet doesnt scale well and gets owned alot. The face that it sometimes its not possible to resummon due to you being cced or melee in your face is also a consideration. but Demonic knowledge is more valuble since good players can kill your pet damn fast even with demonic resilance.

Its probly not a good idea as I havent seen anyone use this variation in the top brackets. It is an interesting theory though if shadow embrace acts almost as good as a second curse of weakness when its maxed. I am just looking to see if theres any better tweaks for this build is all.

You're kinda missing the fact that shadow embrace counts as 1 magic debuff regardless, so the classes you have most problems with are going to be able to dispel it.

It seems to me you have more problems with keeping people off of you than you do with survivability. Rogues/Warriors are always going to be a bitch just because they can permaslow you, but you can do the same to them, so use it to your advantage. Use your healer as a 2nd CC and tank less.

Ahh except the druid warrior druid rogue combos. No dispell there, though priest rogue is rougher there its easy if you can stop the opening cheap shot with perception.

Druid rogue is pretty easy overall with my own druid since rogues are an easy kite. But my real peeve is warrior druids, which are pretty much ruling the battlegroups atm. in that situation shadow embrace would take the place of CoW being decursed. Kiting warriors just does not work, and their druid can drink easyier than mine.
