I know I'll be MAKING my rogue partner in our mage/priest/rogue team get it. He himself has been raped by riposte rogues and disarm will own warriors especially.

First of all, if your rogue is getting raped by riposte rogues he should get a weapon chain. Second, with riposte being the only disarm with diminishing returns (effectively, due to its cooldown) I still don't think it will be worthwhile. On the PTRs my rogue got disarmed by a riposte rogue for a whopping 3 seconds because of my weapon chain. It really didn't make any difference.

The disarm from riposte is nice, no doubt, but I still don't think it'll be worth the six talent points to get it when those talent points could be well spent elsewhere.

He's a scrub and should learn to Shiv. I don't even bother weapon-swapping to my chained weapon any more, I just Shiv right through the Disarm.

The new Disarm mechanics are just going to sort out the intelligent Rogues from the sheep. While the sheep waste 6 talent points, I'll have a distinct advantage.

Oh yeah, and as for Warriors, they will just /shrug. It takes longer than that to swing their weapon for a single auto-attack, MS cooldown is twice that 3 seconds, and Overpower will still be active when it wears off. That is not even mentioning that Warriors attack so few times during a match that you'll be lucky to Parry even one attack (which is a prerequisite for Riposte).

Anyone thinking that Riposte will own Warriors is delusional.
