Spriest/Frost mage

can anyone lend me some advice on how this combo works? the affliction lock who i used to 2v2 with (i'm the spriest) just quit WoW altogether and the only players who i can 2v2 with now are rogues or frost mages.

i tried playing with a few rogues, and i didn't like the results (1900~ rating tops).

with the frost mage i only did 3 games and all 3 were against pally/warlock, and we lost each one. this might be because we're just inexperienced with the combo, but each time it seemed like an impossible fight.

so can anyone lend me some advice on how to play with a frost mage on my team?

i assume you would take a dump on the paladin and then quickly mass dispel his bubble

The strength of this build is that the Shadow Priest brings very potent long-term damage with Psychic Scream while the Frost Mage has very noticeable burst damage with snares, and both are very efficient with decent survivability (both have damage shields) and spell interrupts.

Against a Warlock the Priest must bite the early Fears, dispel Fear from his partner, his partner must Ice Block if the Warlock has Unstable Affliction, and Counterspell and/or Silence the Paladin at a crucial time.

Paladins can use Divine Shield through Silence, but a well timed Silence near the end of a heal cast can fluster most Paladins and they'll stand there for 2-3 seconds wondering what happened.

your warlock quit?! KRUDER?! he was one of the best locks iv played, and we never did get to have our promised 1v1 : (

anyway, aginst lock/pally combo you have to:
CC the warlock with fears/sheep while constantly keeping dps up on the paladin...as the priest you better make sure that BoF is dispelled at all times to keep you mages dps viable. once you have the paladin at about 70%hp toss a silence on him then second the silence is up your mage should counterspell....at this point you should have your hand over the mass dispel hotkey and ber reay to massdispel/fear soon as he bubbles. use mindflay alot to keep the pally slowed for ur mage. If the warlock is stupid enough(which they usually are) to DoT both you and the mage then pop out of shadow and PoM.
