anyone taking LS after 2.3?
&
Are people going to take points out of resto for IS?
I play on a UA lock, S priest, me (resto dru) 3v3 team and was thinking of the possibilities of adding some DPS with IS and Moonfire. The matches are normally very short, but this would limit me in 5v5 where all mana should be saved for heals.

i play 13/11/37 right now and i like the 20% more range for roots and cyclone a lot. cure poison will be buffed, which finally will allow me to position at 36 yards distance while healing in every situation. i won't drop that talent, thats for sure. IS is just another cheap anti-dispel trash debuff right now for me since i play together with a warlock, but that one too will be buffed with the added spelldamage.
the mp5->spirit change is another story and i have no final opinion about that. in the forum someone quoted a calculation that we benefit from the change when we stay out of the 5sec-rule 27% of the time. casting nothing more approximately one third of the time sounds unrealistic for me so my feeling is this ends up in a druid manareg nerf and think about countering the nerf a bit by picking up living spirit.

i tried that build, but losing all the empowered rejuv talents is bad. 6 extra yards is nice, but in the end, i can LOS w/o it

13/11/37 for the grande win in 2.3, empowered rejuv is overrated. That is, assuming the healing -> damage convesion remains the same, which will change imo.

I roll with living spirit regardless, because I PvE, but I'm thinking if makign a new pvp spec... 12/11/38. Insect swarm is kinda ehhh, maybe I'll pick it up to test it out with the new inc spell damage buff.

I play with insect swarm now. 8-11-42 is better i just cbf resepccing extra debuff helps when playing teams that dispel but isnt worth the healing loss

since all druids whined on our spirit buff on s3 gear and they changed it to mp5 again living spirit will be useless , so IS yes LS no
I have been 13/11/37 for 1/2 of season 2 and I enjoy the range as well as IS. When playing with a SL/SL lock its nice to be able to cover his debufs from dispells with rank 1 FF/MF/IS and watching the other teams healer waste tons of mana trying to dispell anything.
Its going to be even better in S3 since I will have some spell damage and my DoTs will actually do good damage if I put a max rank up.
