Is this a viable spec for 5v5 or will we be lacking? I used to run 4 dps and me healing as a resto druid but those people did not play during my timeframe and were too demanding so I left. Before I left we hit 2100.

The new group is a bunch of ppl I have been playing with for a very long time and we are all pretty casual. Do you think this group makeup will work out?

What should we look out for as our weakness? right now all I can think of is 4 dps focusing our priest or something along those lines. Whenever we fight 3 healer I just CC one of the warriors and this allows one of our healers to drink. We then have our priest mana burn the other healers.

Hunters will be your worst nightmare.
Also a mana drain team will give you a bit of trouble.
4dps has the luxury to choose whoever they want to focus fire, so they could target you, or switch to paladin after his divine shield fades.

that's all i can really think off, good luck.

Has anyone seen this group makeup work before?

I haven't. The team I've seen work well is 2 Warriors, 2 Paladins, and a Resto Shaman. It works though, in my opinion, because there is a Freedom for both Warriors as well as Windfury. There is also no squishy target. I'm not sure how well your team work work. It would be fairly easy to CC a healer and kill the Priest while shutting down another one.

Would a lock work better than one of the warriors?

Possibly but not likely. Warriors are good at putting the pressure on, but without Windfury I find their damage to be lacking any real burst. The thing is that if the lock isn't SL then the other team now has two squishy targets to attack, and if they are SL they probably aren't putting out the damage they need to. A lock can be shut down with DPS on them, while a Warrior can't. Your Priest is still going to be the weakness of the team in the end.

Last season we played Paladin/Priest/Warrior/Mage/Warlock. We could beat every team but the one I mentioned, the Warriors split DPS. It was very frustrating. If anything put in a Shaman instead of Priest. That gives you your offensive dispel.

I don't think that is a good team. The point of double warrior/double pally is that everyone has big armor. You have a priest, holding up a big "insert sword here" sign. Double warrior outlast teams only work when nobody is squishy.

You lose to pretty much everything.

- Against double warrior/double pally your priest will take a lot more damage than the druid or shaman the other team has as 5th.
- Against mana burn you are hosed since you will not be able to apply enough pressure on all their burners with only two DPS.
- Against CC teams your warriors will do very little. Teams with druid+other CC tend to destroy double warrior.
